Well, for what it's worth, Firewatch is great!

 

I am SO stoked for Yooka Layley, the toybox demo looks like so much fun.

 

No Man's Sky looks sooooooooooo good.

 

As someone who finished Firewatch in one sitting and loved it, these two posts are fucking ridiculous.

 

Yes, I guess Firewatch was shallow mechanically, but it had an interesting story and great pacing with a price tag to match.

No Man's Sky is a 60 dollar game built upon exploration and gameplay, which, quite frankly, makes even Minecraft look sophisticated. I guess context matters, but I do agree there was some unintentional hilarity when you contrast those two posts.

 

Sure. I also think you should word your criticism more carefully. Your original post is not a good look and comes across as pretty childish, given your extreme disdain for a game that's not even out.

 

So much hype for something that looks so bland. Concept is good, execution looks dreadful. Expecting low to mid review scores and the game to fade out completely in a couple of months.

 

Hold up, did I stumble into a Reddit gaming subreddit or something? Good lord.

 

They killed a dog in Alan Wake and I am visible upset about this. I'm more upset about this than anything else in the game.

 

I think I've played enough No Man's Sky to have that opinion. I really think it's trash. Very, very pretty and cool trash -- but still trash.

 

Whatever, I'll still play it. Keep waiting for that trophy for not liking something, cool guy.

 

I am sorry I don't like the game you're excited for, but that's no reason to go ad hominem.

 

Never said I was excited, I just want to play it. So you didn't like it, whoop dee doo. That's your opinion based on what you like, it has absolutely no bearing on me wanting to play it or how I will enjoy it. You being a twit and calling it garbage, that's just you being hateful because you can be. Like if you had a well written piece about why you didn't like it, I'd cool with that. Instead, it's just you being a dick for really no reason other than to look cool. You can whatever you want as a retort, I know what you're all about and frankly, I don't like what I see.

 

Man, Hyper Light Drifter is such a blast. Can't get enough, combat is super rewarding as well.

Also, Oxenfree is getting creepy as hell. LOVE IT

 

Platinum'd The Talos Principle finally last night! Man that game was fun at first but really just got annoying towards the end. Still a good game though

 

Just started playing Beyond: Two Souls. What are everyone's thoughts on it?

has anyone here had a 3ds and upgraded to a n3DS? my current 3ds is busted, but gs said they'll accept it so i wanna trade up for a n3ds

 

It's interesting so far. It's definitely worth the price I had paid for it (PSN sale awhile back) so I'm content.

 

What was so bad about it?

 

I have a nn3ds. I upgraded from a gem 1 3ds and it's awesome. If you're upgrading anyway I'd say it's definitely worth it just so you can play Xenoblade

 

I saw PS3 bundles are 50% off at Target and I'm legit thinking about getting one but all I can see is the 12 gb bundle and the reviews say that isn't worth it.
