Had my first really annoying comp game in CS tonight.

3 Griefers teamed up, somehow got my other teammate kicked with a "molly" trick, I assume by him throwing a molotov and the griefers dying in it on purpose for auto kick.

Managed to bring us to 10-15 before they kicked me. Oh well, I expect that sort of thing at my MMR. Need teammates.

 

Game of the year incoming.

 

Watched my girlfriend beat Silent Hill Shattered Memories last night and despite the clunky controls, it holds up as a pretty good game

 

I'm pretty excited about this. I was big fan of Darksiders and the games it borrowed from.

I'll never understand why they didn't put this one out first instead of 2.

 

This is great news and now hopefully they will fix the broken achievement(s) on the ONE version.

 

Darsiders 1 is the best Zelda game that's not actually Zelda or Okami. For 20 bucks you shouldn't miss it.

 

I love the trend of older games coming to the new consoles.

Been playing Jak and Daxter when TLOU gets too dark and oh man I love this series and Naughty Dog in general.

 

Just picked up Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE for Wii U this past weekend and what was initially expected to be a nice addition to the ever-growing backlog has pretty much stolen my attention from everything else I've been playing.

I'm really surprised at how good this is, especially considering the seemingly silly premise (pop idol RPG??) and I think the SMT/Fire Emblem crossover elements are really well done. Plays like a newer Persona game with Fire Emblem references, but still holds its own as a game without prior knowledge of either.

 

Yeah it's pretty dope. Loses a bit of steam halfway through though.

 

Haven't gotten nearly that far yet, but that's a bummer to hear. The overall opinion I've heard from people who've completed it is to concentrate on the gameplay/characters first and the story is just kind of something holding it together rather than a reason to push forward.

 

yes, that's exactly the thing, I feel like i've already seen everything this game has to offer, mechanically.
The story is cute but nothing special.

 

the original Jak and Daxter is so good.

 

So good. I always forgot how much I love this game because 2 and 3 are just something else entirely.

 

My brother is playing Jak 2 right now while I play Sims Bustin Out and we are both having so much fun. He is aiming for 100% but I doubt he can do it.
