Apparently they're hiring art designers for a project for D3... Most people are saying it's the next expansion, but there's a small hope for something D4 related.

I just want more Diablo either way, honestly don't care if it's more D3 or a full on D4.

Just read into the Alison Rapp stuff. What a strange situation for Nintendo to be in. From a purely corporate stand point, the whole thing makes sense to me. I also don't know anything about GamerGate though.

 

Can anyone give a short summary of what went on with that? I just saw that she was basically fired because she was harassed so much?

She was fired because "she was moonlighting under an alias where she had an Amazon wishlist." There weren't any more details, but if you are familiar with the internet, it might not be hard to figure out. She also has very strange opinions on pedophilia that aren't in line with Nintendo.

 

apparently Rapp moonlighted as a cam model, doesn't meet Nintendos family image, etc.

Those tweets are disgusting. I think a lot of people aren't aware she's said these things? It's really worrying.

 

Yeah, I actually only found them in a comment section, so the validity could be questionable. But if Nintendo was looking into her social media accounts, that right there is grounds to at least have a sit down.

While she may have an argument that they wouldn't be there in the first place had it not been for GG, the fact that it is there, makes any defense moot.

 

I'm aware of it, think all of that stems from an academic paper. I believe a lot of the CP stuff she's defended is that of the drawn variety.

Not gonna come out looking good regardless. May have to peruse that paper sometime.

Play Heroes of the storm. I find it much, much more fun.

 

League is still a bit more fun than Heroes of the storm due to the skill ceiling, HotS is nice for a stress-free moba experience with fun maps however.

League is definitely harder but I wouldn't say HOTS is easy.

 

HOTS is kind of boring to me. idk, no disrespect to any that prefer it. LoL just does more for me, despite how much I dislike the community.

 

Yeah I don't think it's easy. Easier than other MOBAs but...that doesn't say too much considering. Especially in ranked.

 

League just feels more rewarding in the end, I've never been all that satisfied with a victory in HotS. I don't play either all that much anymore, but I have fond memories of all-day ranked sessions in League trying to climb the ladder. Champions are a bit more fun to play in League too.

I also don't have anyone to play with either, so that doesn't help.

Yeah. With how much they've been adding each content patch though I'm pretty satisfied. Diablo is more about the character progress/build and loot then the story, so as long as they keep releasing new ways to work on my character and new items I'm pretty pleased.
