Yes it hits more emotionally when you know them but you could still play 2 w/o 1 and still get a lot out of it and be okay understanding everything else

I say start over with season 1 if you can. It will make the experience so much better. Plus your choices will carry over.

Is it worth getting the first Injustice game just for the story now that it's pretty cheap? I love DC but I'm not a huge fan of fighting games

It's a fun game, I'd recommend it and I just played through single player.

So I've been without a console for years now, and i've been thinking about getting a PS4. I was wondering what games I should start out with.
I dig openworld sandbox RPG type stuff, so I've been mulling on Witcher 3, GTA V, Fallout 4, Middle Earth Shadows of Mordor, and Dragon Age Inquisition.

Also are there any good FPS games that are more focused on single player besides Fallout and Bioshock? Because I dig FPS as a concept, but just not really interested in multiplayer. Is Doom's single player stuff alone worth buying the game?

Video won't really add much to the podcast IMO but I'm excited that they're livestreaming it and there's finally a set time for the podcast each Tuesday.

Absolutely loving Inquisition, so I can back that.

As for single player FPS, Borderlands - the Handsome Collection, and Far Cry 4. Also Destiny depending on how interested you are in it.

Almost everyone who played it loved DOOM's single player so I think you're good there too.

I can't think of anything else right now.

Buy Doom and Witcher 3 and you'll be set for the next 140 hours.

stay as far away from Dragon Age as possible. It has the progression structure of a free to play game.

Honestly by what you said, start with The Witcher 3. It will probably blow your mind.

    Doom is a masterpiece.

If you enjoy Sandbox style then definitely AC Syndicate and Rise of the Tomb Raider when it comes out on the PS4(it's not a sandbox per se but has a lot of the same elements to it).
Other honorable mentions would be Saints Row and Dead Rising when it comes out for the PS4.

I'm terrible at fighting games so I've never played Injustice and likely never will but I'm glad it's done well and people seem excited for the sequel

why don't you try and learn it? It's really not that hard. I was in the exact same spot when SFIV came out. I ended up winning regional championships.

Because I know myself and it'll stress me out too much and really isn't worth it to me

Yes to The Witcher and Fallout 4.

As for single player driven FPS Doom, and Wolfenstein:The New Order.

Watching EVO makes me want to get good at fighting games (or at least decent, instead of being very bad at them). Might pick up SFIV, new KoF and Injustice 2 this year.

  23. Definitely buy Uncharted Collection (Uncharted 1-3 remastered) and Uncharted 4, as well as Tomb Raider 2013 and Rise of the Tomb Raider when it comes out.
