oh good. i stopped playing cause it would freeze a lot. and i found it a bit difficult honestly

 

Different perspectives I guess, I don't see why it should be haha. If we pin every "overarching" thread, then we'd pin Comic Books, Anime, etc too and then we end up with 20 threads pinned again, which is what I think we'd like to avoid.

 

It is solid, not perfect though by any means and could have more depth to it but I'm enjoying it for the most part. Really pulled me into its world.

 

Yeah, the game can be brutal. I had my share of rage moments. But if you explore and level up, it's surprising how quickly you run around like an over-powered God.
It's awesome

 

Why need pinned threads when you can just go to your followed threads?

Followed threads here are SO MUCH better than AP. I ignored them on AP because it was 20 pages of nonsense threads I posted in once or twice.

Can I ask why not? If you have threads you're constantly checking in on, why not use the one tool that keeps them in the same spot?

 

But why are the pinned threads that are pinned there? Makes no sense. Those threads are crap.

Because it's a hassle? It goes on for pages and it's always difficult to manage. At least for me. Most of the threads that are in followed I don't actually want to follow haha

It's the chat thread for the whole forum, and then the "Discussion of the Week" threads, so those theoretically shouldn't be staying pinned for long. Plus the site is very new so the organization/structure of all the forums is definitely not set in stone. @Henry can chime in too if he wants since he's officially the Entertainment mod.

 

We basically just want to foster meaningful discussion. Like Scoot said, each week we'll be shuffling out threads. It's really just an experiment right now to see if those are the types of things people will contribute to going forward. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work. We are going to give it a shot though.

A lot of users thought the representation thread should be stickied because it is an important subject matter that should be addressed. I don't have a problem with that.

 

You should tag the title WEEKLY DISCUSSION or something. Something that gathers interest. Right now it doesn't appear that way and unless someone asks, it might go unnoticed. Just a thought?

 

I had asked Jason if he would create a tag for it, but he didn't really like the idea. I could throw it on the front of it and just wipe it away each week though.

 

Exactly why I am trying to get at least the story finished before 5th April with Quantum Break and Dirt Rally coming out.

While the game is definitely flawed for sure, I really think there's some enjoyment to be found as long as you don't try to play it like RE4/5. Try to look up some tutorials or whatever online because there are various gameplay systems that are explained poorly or just not at all. At the very least Mercenaries is the best its ever been in 6 so there's that also.

 

Still the worst RE game of them all in my opinion.

I 100%ed everything on AC Unity/Dead Kings yesterday. I'm so glad I can finally lay that shit to rest. I started Syndicate and the upgrade in quality is already significant lol
