Used to love posting about E3 in real time the three years we did that in them. It was so cool seeing people's reactions to what was going on, can't wait to do it here in June.

I love E3 year, I watch the livestreams and react and then watch the Giant Bomb guys talk over the shows.

Also cool for Aaron Paul to be in FFXV, so excited for that. Between that and possibly persona 5 it's going to be a good year for JRPGs.

also this is edwardyyy now to my actual nickname which is nice

and also I just bought the Smite Ultimate God pack and I'm finally going to reach ranked play this weekend. I'm so hyped.

 

finished the pre-sequel. it pretty much met my expectations as far as the story being better than borderlands but not quite as good as borderlands 2. it certainly complicated jack as a character, not to say he was ever really one of the good guys at any point in this (well, he does save the moon, but he's a jackass the entire time), but he does become a character you can maybe somewhat sympathize with on a certain level at a few points. keep in mind, everything he did to "protect" his daughter probably happened well before the events of the pre-sequel, so i'd say his transition was something more like pretty-evil to very-evil. i will say he's one of the better-written antagonists i can think of in gaming and other media as well. on the gameplay side, this is probably the most fun i've had playing a borderlands game. i haven't used cryo very much as ceraunic athena, but low-grav and slams were super fun, and laser guns were a great alternative to the types of eridian weapons found on pandora in the previous two games. i like that the character you're playing as has dialogue. i mean, you can't choose it, but it's nice.

Picked up RE6 for PS4 for six bucks to play online co op. I feel dirty.
