I just looked up Dangerous Golf, it doesn't look fun to me at all.

 

I don't know how I mixed up XII and XIII. lol

XII is my favorite FF game. The combat system was sooooo damn fun. Maybe I can finally get around to beating Yiazmet this time. Omega Weapon was hard enough.

 

Looking forward to Yooka-Laylee.

Didn't realize how much I missed old school platformers until I played Ratchet and Clank.

 

Finished DOOM, absolutely loved it and judging from the ending we will be getting another one.

 

These trailers better mean E3 is going to be stacked and not that they're going to waste a bunch of time on useless bullshit.

 

Ubi is sending me emails about Watch Dogs sequel.

 

Mirror's Edge reviews

A lot of the impressions more or less align with my thoughts on the brief time I spent with it, then again I was never huge on the original either outside of the visuals.

 

On the Endgame in The Witness still have no idea about anything on the island except there are an assload of line puzzles and people turned to stone.

 

There's no way Horizon ends up being as good as it looks, need to temper my excitement for it.

 

The only thing that gives me pause is that it's being developed by Guerrilla Games who've only worked on the Killzone series over the past decade, and this seems like a huge departure from that.

(that and Killzone has always been a mediocre franchise)

 

Yeah I'm not sure Guerilla has it in them. Killzone 2 was great though. I really hope Horizon turns out good.

 

A departure from the Killzone franchise should be good news given the reception of that last game

 

Everything about Horizon looks amazing but the dialogue in that trailer was weak. I have faith it will be amazing though, it's clearly a project with a lot of love and care being put into it and those are rarely bad.

 

Not sure I want after Shadow Fall. Shadow Fall is one of the worst things I've ever played.

 

I just finished Life Is Strange and it honestly fucking destroyed me.

And I loved every second of it.

 

Played so much rocket league tonight that I feel guilty I play so much Overwatch. Went on a 6 game win streak in doubles and scored some nice goals and set up a lovely one at the end.

 

I'm in one of my I haven't played video games in almost two weeks slumps. My buddy is chiding me that he beat UC4 last weekend and I'm only on chapter 11 after talking about it non-stop.

 

Shadow Fall was unremarkable but overall fine. It was just a mediocre title which is pretty typical of 1st party launch games.

 

At least we know Horizon will look great

 

And I'm pretty sure they were already working on Horizon at that point obviously depleting their resources. I think it will be a good game though.

 

Just got Chandra, Flamecaller! 15 more packs of Oath to Gatewatch and I'll have all the currently available cards in Magic Duels! (and I'm only playing vs. AI!!!)

edit: In other news, that tension between Hope and Snow finally led somewhere. Even though it meant Hope being an annoying little... It seriously took me so long to finish that part of Chapter 7 just because they're my least favorite characters and I had to control both of them. At least Snow has redeeming qualities, especially towards the end of that cutscene.

Excited to be controlling Lightning and Fang now.

 

Until Dawn and Bloodborne are now both $20 on PSN.

 

I was putting aside money for Overwatch, but my heart truly yearns for Mirrors Edge: Catalyst. The original is one of my favorite games ever. The bad reviews are so disheartening.
