1 HR in and have had (1) encounter using guns and it was VASTLY improved though only....3-4 minutes. Will report back when the actual gunplay comes in more.

That was always a big issue I had as well...

 

Thanks for the update. I'm not worried or anything, they seemed to really nail it down with The Last of Us (non-clicker enemies, anyway), so I imagine a lot of that will carry over.

 

I'm, according to the in game percentage, a third of the way through the game and the enemies are way less bullet spongey than I remember previous games being. A few hits will do it for most so far (less if you headshot, of course).

 

Yeah, it did. Feels tight and punchy a bit, really excited to see how the standard encounters pan out.

You don't need to have played these games before, you'll get the hang of things after playing a few rounds. There's offense, defense, tank, and support and they're all kinda self-explanatory.

Offense are the main damage dealers, useful when you're trying to take an objective.

Defense are also damage dealers, but have utility abilities that are helpful for defending an objective.

Tanks are generally large with shields etc, useful for soaking up damage and protecting an objective or teammates.

Supports, well, support their team with healing, shields, etc, but usually have some (weaker) method of attacking as well.

 

I get that. The one thing I will say in the defense of this game is I'm sure at the time Infinity Ward didn't know everyone was against the boost jump, exo movements when they were developing the game. It really wasn't until AW came out that people were against it and BO3 was hopeful, but ultimately had its own issues so i think that's why they scrambled to do the COD 4 remaster. I'm also not the kind of person to just hate on a game without playing it first.

 

@lightning13 have you played as Skadi yet in Smite? I just started her and she is actually really funny except Kaldr dies so fast which makes me sad.

 

Really enjoying Battlefield 4 and beginning to wonder why I've been playing COD the last few years instead.

 

Yes!! So weird you say this, I just started her like the other day and I'm really bad at the second ability to use Kaldr because I can't see where I'm aiming (I sit quite a bit away from the screen for my eyes) and sometimes my basic attacks stop working and I forget I didn't target someone. >_< It's only her I'm having this issue with cause of that ability lmao. I do love her though, I always like characters that are based on elements. Oh and speaking of which, I started Sol yesterday. I bought her supernova skin.

It absolutely blows my mind that PSO2 never got an official Western release, colossal misstep by SEGA there.

 

Yup, this was how I felt with BF3. Played COD campaigns and that's it. It's not even close BF is so good.

BF4 was some of the best fun I've had online.

 

Yes. I feel you on that. I play standing up staring at my tv but it's so bad when I'm in team fights and I keep forgetting to use Kaldr and I waste my ultimate and Kaldr. Yes element ones are the best and her end victory thing is so adorable.

It's probably just me but Sol just seems so OP sometimes in Conquest that I get annoyed. That skin is also super cool. I like her digital one a lot. I'm about to buy a Nemesis skin. I think it's the Crimson one?

I'm waiting for the day when me and @lightning13 are both playing arena on smite and happen to run into each other. That'll be great.

Also MASTERED SKADI woo so one more to fifty gods mastered.

 

I really wanna go back and play more civ V but I think it's just too much for my computer to handle. Especially late game when there's so much going on it slows to a crawl

 

omg I literally just turned got off the game and saw you were in queue. i'm having a hard time getting these first wins of the day, all when i finally get that "get 30 first wins" quest >_> i have a headache, literally, haha

 

we need to schedule a day to play so I can see you show me up!!

I gave up on quests entirely especially that one just because that is way to much time commitment. I'm barely lucky to get the last one of 500 kills.

 

Anybody play those Sherlock Holmes games? Feel like it may be something I'd be into.

 

Uncharted 4 is phenomneal, absolutely gorgeous and the writing is as sharp as ever. May be my favorite so far.
