Ugh. I need it. How much was the pc version?

 

I want to say it was 15 or 20.

 

yeah oh my god i have SO much to do. haha

 

I love that I can plug headphones into my PS4 controller and have a game as loud as I want without waking the baby. Obviously you can use headphones with a computer too, but for some reason it feels cooler with a TV, especially because it means I can do it with Netflix as well via the PS4 app.

 

I do that shit all the time, I love it. I don't have a baby though. I'm just weird

 

haha no I get that, the sound quality is better with a nice pair of headphones than with my TV speakers, regardless of baby.

 

man i didn't know this was possible, i'm such a n00b still. so that's what the xb1 "stereo headset" is for. omg. i need to get one b/c the speakers on my monitor are just bad. also i can't play late at night (it's too loud, even at 1/100...quality isn't great regardless of volume) unless i connect the headphones to the monitor and i don't want to be too close to the screen.

 

Yup same. Also, good call on the reboot my router/modem. Haven't had any problems since, it's been a blast!

haha yeah I guess it's only obvious if you play online games, in which case it's a necessity for communication via headset. but even for singleplayer games the headphones are nice.

 

I almost always have my headphones in my Dualshock. They just sound better than my tv speakers.

Also probably going to pick up The Division tomorrow after hearing good things about it.

How do I not have you added already? Do you use your AP username? I use the same username for everything, haha.

yeah i just have the chat headset (Xbox One Chat Headset) that came with the console.

 

I've never played online games with communication yet, will the little headset that came with the PS4 suffice? Any cheap upgrades that are worth looking into?

Been using it since November 2013 and the sound isn't bad for chat and the microphone really picks you up just fine.

 

yeah that works fine. any headphones with a mic works.

 

Super looking forward to playing The Division now. Never messed around with shooters that much, because I can't handle first person, and multiplayer as the main driving point was never appealing to me. Looks like this game kind of sidesteps those issues.

 

I had no idea I could do that!
