Both OS and UIs are a mess on both consoles.

If I had to choose just one based (Disregarding exclusives) it'd be PS4 for having the better specs. Either way neither are all that great. This console generation has been largely disappointing.

 

Maybe I'm biased but I've always liked the Xbox/Windows Tiles/whatever it's called UI. It makes more sense to me for UX on TV. And with consoles I don't have to worry about system specs and settings, I just put the disc in and play.

I used to be into PC building back in ~2005/2006 but that eventually got tiring. I just like the ease of use of consoles.

 

It's 100% about exclusives for me. Besides Forza, Microsoft exclusives have never done it for me, and it doesn't look like they will any time soon. Whereas Sony has Naughty Dog, and games like No Man's Sky, Horizon: Zero Dawn, The Last Guardian, etc. all coming out in the near future.

 

Yeah, I'm largely on PS4 this gen because of the exclusives. Bloodborne, Nier Automata, Persona, Disgaea, DQXI, FF Type 0, plus the games you listed.

 

Back to the old conversation but I had fun with Watch Dogs. I absolutely loved the soundtrack, never thought I'd hear Alkaline Trio in a sandbox game. Also had my favorite Weezer song (Good Life)

 

I don't remember those songs in there at all. Hah, I just remember the Rise Against song always playing.

 

Does anyone know if Star Citizen has an actual release date? I know modules and stuff are out there, but will there ever be a finished product to get?

I also greatly prefer the PS4 controller and UI. I know my friend really dislikes the PS4 controller though but loves the One controller he uses for his PC despite not even owning an XBone.

 

My girlfriend has Type 0 for our Xbone.

 

XB1 controller is too big. Also, the Dualshock 4 is miles ahead of the shitty plastic Dualshock 3.

 

i'm only one chapter away from completing type-0.

In comparison to the Dualshock 4, definitely. I used one for the first time the other day and it's a lot worse than the 360 controller, imo.

 

XB1 controller is a bit heavier which I prefer, both are around the same sort of grip size.

The rubber quality on the sticks is a minor annoyance with the PS4 controllers, the rubber on my sticks on both of my controllers are starting to wear away.

 

I think the 360 controller is way more uncomfortable to hold than the One.

 

I think both controllers feel pretty similar sizewise and I think both are great I just prefer the way the Dualshock 4 feels in my hands and I prefer the shoulder buttons.

 

360 controller was my favourite ever at the time but I haven't gone back to it in a while and I've heard from people it hasn't held up well.

 

I went back to my 360 controller the other day to play something for a few minutes and it was hard to go back to after using Dualshock 4.

I was so happy when they announced the Dualshock 3. I bet if we showed someone this today they would think it was fake.

 

I really love both the 360 and One controller so much.

They just feel great.

 

I like both controllers, but prefer the dualshock 4.
