playing Bioshock 2 for the first time and the improvement of combat is wild, it's way more fun. Story is a little whatever in these first couple hours, but I hear it gets better

The digital deluxe does have the season pass but as I stated earlier it is cheaper to buy the Welcome to Amerika version (which if you are a Prime member you can get another £2 off) and the season pass separate then you save around £6.

I have such a big back log, I cannot justify Day One unless the game is something special. I bought Titanfall 2 and BF1 last year for $29.99 each just a month after launch. Basically buy one get one free.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is the only game I plan to buy day one right now.

As someone who recently played the first two Bioshocks (still need to play Infinite) I thought the second game to be my favorite of the two. The gameplay was much better and the story wasn't much of a drop off from the original.

I still to this day haven't picked up Bioshock Infinite, despite having loved the first two.

This is good to hear. I seem to remember it catching a lot of shit at the time so I just never bothered.

Infinite is one of my favorite games ever

  8. 2 is my least favorite (I mean, not by a lot, though; its combat is probably the most streamlined of the three), but holy shit that Minerva's Den DLC is something else

I kinda hope Bethesda puts Arkane austin on a new fallout next. Sadly, I can't see there being a new prey.

Bethesda is either about to close studios or have them start working on Fallout/Elder Scrolls spinoffs because nobody is buying their games beyond those franchises

Dishonored is probably safe. Wolfenstein too. Luckily machinegames aren't a huge studio, so if it bombs, it probably won't be the end of the franchise.

TangoGameworks is probably over, along with the evil within.

I'm pretty sure Dishonored is done, there is a reason the DLC turned into a separate game, it's because 2 sold like ass. I remember the numbers being bad. Wolfenstein's midterm future probably depends on how this one is going to sell, it's pretty ambitious I think so there's pressure.

Wolfenstein is in a good place to succeed, I think. I have seen more people share they're anti-fascist twitter marketing more than prob any other form of marketing in a while. It's up against Assassin's Creed and Mario, but it scratches a much different itch than those games and I am hopeful it'll be a hit on the Switch.

Anybody know how big Mario will be if you purchase digitally? I already have Arms and FIFA installed on my Switch (I think I have a 32gb SD card too). I really want to have Mario digitally because I think it will be a game that will play on the go for years and it's easier to have it installed instead of carrying the game disks.

I actually enjoyed all of them quite a bit. Bioshock 1 was phenomenal on every level and it was insane exploring for the first time. Bioshock 2 didn't quite have that same magical touch because it was almost like a "been there, done that" kinda deal. The Big Sisters were pretty cool though.

Finished RE7 and was bummed out by the whole second half. Being able to throw bombs at the feet of the enemies to kill them felt really off tonally. Everything from the boat on felt so out of place and shoehorned just to put the RE sticker on it. I'd say everything through the bug lady really had me on the edge of my seat. The twist of the old lady was cool, but aside from that, such a bummer. Really makes me wish Silent Hills had worked out.

  20. Finished Rise of the Tomb Raider. Probably my only gripe is that climbable arrows are so hard to jump onto. The story wasn't amazing, but it was definitely an improvement upon 2013's, and worked very well as a second entry into the reboot series. They damseled Jonah! lol. Much better than Sam being completely useless. I don't think I'll ever get over that.

I actually finished 2013 TR Remastered over the weekend haha. I liked it a lot. The combat was fun and felt fluid to me and I had a lot of fun (mostly) looking for all the artifacts and journals. My girlfriend told me RoTR was pretty much an improvement in every way on the first (other than maybe story) so im excited to get to it

love when trolls literally ruin smite for someone just because of how shitty they are.

My goal this Black Friday is to grab Battlefront, Wolfenstein, Ghost Recon and Watch Dogs 2 at cheap prices. Don't want to let those games slip too far away.

Honestly right now just waiting to cash in on all of my PUR points from the whole 60% extra trade spree from a few months back. Sitting on a ton of points and someone mentioned the certificates typically go to 50% off around the holidays, so seems like a solid time to pick up the games I've missed with any inevitable buy 2, get 1 sale/coupon GameStop might have. So many games I'm nowhere near done with now that I can't even justify purchasing any more (even though MARIO!!)
