Thanks for posting that, because I would have forgotten all about watching this tonight if not.

 

The pilot was meh, but the show is already taking a big step up in its 2nd episode.

Goggins is fucking killing it.

 

Yeah second episode was fantastic

Did not expect it to escalate so fast

 

Last night's episode was fantastic.

 

"She said I eat pubic hair with pepper paste"

 

loving this

 

Don't really think this is good at all but I heard it picks up a few in so I'll probably give it another episode. Kenny powers (at least the season 1 still fresh Kenny powers) was a much funnier character.

 

Walter Goggins is so funny.

 

Thought the pilot was 'meh' despite a few laughs. Second episode definitely stepped up.

 

Second episode was better but this still just feels like Kenny Powers: Vice Principals.

 

It does a little bit yeah. Walter Goggins' presence really does wonders. I think he's been the funniest so far. Like someone else said, I feel like I've seen this same Danny McBride character numerous times before.

 

This was originally going to be a movie but they felt there was more story to tell

Like how it's a set, limited series. Works better for McBride and Hill

 

Episode 2 was badass and completely unexpected. Goggins is the shit in this.

 

Danny McBride is bringing a Ricky Gervais in Extras level of awkwardness to this. Love it.

 

Thought Gamby was a bit TOO unlikeable in this episode but still good. This actually may have been the most Eastbound episode yet

 

I like Miss Abbot a lot

Honestly this show reminds me way more of Observe and Report than Eastbound. I missed Goggins but still a really solid episode

 

The laugh per minute average on this show is pretty fucking solid. I am really enjoying it.

 

Gosh McBride's character is cringe worthy in terms of his social awkwardness.

 

This will turn out better than E&B

Easily the best so far. Seems like you're supposed to be rooting against Gamby and Russell at this point, though the characters are still hilarious. That ending was fantastic

 

Yeah another solid episode. Miss Abbott is such an entertaining form of weird. Never seen the actress before but she is shining in the small opportunities she has.

 

This show has been hilarious.

 

Lost it at the hallucinations. Holy shit.

I still think the high points of Eastbound are better (KP having to care for a child), but through the first few eps this show has been much more steady.
