All four songs are really good but Rage is soooo good, totally lived up to the hype he was setting for it. Absolutely cannot wait for this album, its probably my most anticipated of the year at this point.
Rage is easily the standout here, the other three didn't quite do much for me after first listen though
This is fine, but unfortunately kinda underwhelming. Imo, if you're only gonna release 4 songs, at least 3 of them need to be bangers.
Yup, album The Autobiography announced for 7/28. Rage is the only song from the EP that is on the album according to Vic, and there are apparently features from Joey Purp, Chief Keef, Rivers Cuomo, and Pharrell. Really fucking excited for this.
I am fully turning this into a thread about just the album since 3/4 songs from the EP are on it lol New song is really good and everything already released is too. So fucking excited for this
it's kinda weird that the one track that made the cut from the EP is Rollin Like A Stoner, and the other two are bonus tracks.
Yeah, not sure what the thinking behind that was. What I'm strongly considering doing is leaving Rage as the last song on the album, cutting OMG from the album entirely and just having the EP consist of Almost There and OMG. Of course this is super premature because the album isn't even out yet but Rage seems like too perfect of a closer, unless the "true" closer of the album is even better
First Listen: Vic Mensa, 'The Autobiography' Official stream from NPR Still gonna wait for release day
I'm finding this album to have a severe lack of diversity, or anything standing out. Maybe just because we were talking about him in another thread, but this kinda gives me the J Cole vibes of "nothing amazing, nothing horrible, kinda just exists"
