Rewatched the pilot on DVD last night to get a head start. It’s so good. The amount of great stuff it sets up in 40 minutes is insane.
Hopefully the nicer version with a bad boy side and not the super asshole early version. His personality was definitely my vibe in 2005.
Got through 4 episodes today. I forgot how soon into this show these events happen. I totally thought the John Smith episode was like towards the end of S1 if not S2.
Got through the John smith episode. It’s really tripping me out how this looks so much better than the DVD but still very much like a 2005 DVD. The Hulu originals logo on the bottom is super distracting. Besides that, I’m excited to dive in. Not a huge fan of the John smith episode but I’m already super invested in the characters all over again.
I also always forget about the teacher who’s in the main credits for a few episodes before completely vanishing
Ok 10 episodes in and it’s been wild to see Jessica Chastain and also Jonathan Bennett of Cake Wars and Celebrity Big Brothet fame
I was trying to figure out if Jesse Metcalfe showed up later in the season or something, lol. I’m on Drinking the Kool-Aid.
I'm through Episode 16 of Season 1 I forgot how good th is season already is and I thought alot of these episodes were from S2. It's crazy how little screen time some of the best characters get in S1
One of my favorite Veronica and Mac moments is in season 1. Veronica calls her on the phone for computer help and Mac asks what did she do before they ever met, and Veronica responds, "Ever seen the first 10 minutes of 2001: A Space Odyssey? It was a lot like that...*awkward silence*... monkeys clubbing each other." "No, I got it." This show is so quotable. I haven't done a rewatch in years but I remember so many lines.
