that is some huge insecurity on her part. like damn.

 

did she know you were nearby to hear the comment? was she making a joke? does she make these kinds of jokes with other people?

i work with someone who makes these kinds of asshole-ish / sly remarks constantly and understands she comes off as a terrible person but legitimately does it for everyone / any situation and it's just how her personality is made up. wonder if that could be the same for this person?

 

i feel you on this. the other day a friend of mine told me that some dude i used to think was my friend said i "flaunt [my] boobs but never talk to anyone," which was misogynistic and fucked up on its face, but also completely untrue. i know some people might perceive me wearing any shirt that isn't a baggy turtleneck as "flaunting" just because I have big boobs. it sucks, but it is what it is i guess.

 

Yes I was sitting right next to her lol and she said it like to the group which was embarrassing.
It’s more like she’s just a hater lol about a lot of people and things.
I do definitely think it’s rooted in insecurity for suuure

Also I’m sitting there like what I’m not even wearing what I consider to be a “boob flaunting” shirt lol. Bc I have plenty and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with them. And yet because I was wearing a normal vneck it of course had some cleavage bc I can’t help that

 

My brand new permanent retainer popped off my tooth in five weeks (my first one made it 12 years) and the orthodontist didn’t have an appointment for a week so now I get to have a headache for a week and get stabbed in the roof of my mouth every time I eat. Sigh.

 

My company f-ed up my insurance, AGAIN!! I got NO notice about vision, dental, medical, only life insurance and I just got something in the mail that says "benefits from recent annual enrollment" and it says no benefits (and says effective jan 2018 which makes no sense). Even my benefits center shows nothing! I need to quit this company!

edit: I have really bad health and I just got over being sick and getting sick again. Now I can't go to the doctor

 

Update: I called the benefits line and the person I talked to is going to put in a ticket and also reference this happened to me before in the beginning of the year. On their end it shows I haven't had coverage since Jan, in which I explained the whole disenrolling me when I had enrolled etc, then it was fixed and I've been paying for it etc. I really don't know what's wrong with the head office. They disenroll people who are enrolled, enroll people who didn't sign up, mess up peoples paychecks...

 

Ok this water thing has been going on for 3 days and I'm over it. I swear when I get a job i am donating to the people of flint because they are a billion times stronger than myself. I can't deeeeal

I work with people who throw around “liberal” as an insult. I can’t take it. And I thought they were cool, but the moment I heard “I’m tired of these liberals” my thoughts about them changes so quickly. Now I don’t know what to think.

 

Today was probably the most frustrating day at work. For one, I was by myself, and it was super busy. It’s like when we’re short staff everyone is more needy than usual and more impatient. The unsafe working conditions aren’t going to change. I can’t do this any longer. I just wanted to scream.

I found two positions that appear I can qualify for at a hospital. One of them ask for a CNA preferred, and I pretty much do cna work but don’t have my license. I’ve been told that if it’s allowed I should challenge the board and bypass taking cna courses. That position is nearly the same hours im doing now, but i run the risk of the same shit happening... call offs and having to be mandated for a double since it says overtime may be required. Also I don’t know the days of week worked. I won’t do a weekend work, unless it’s on a rotation. There is no way I’m fully doing weekend work. The other position is admin work and days. Asks for AA and bachelors preferred and I have both. But I need to get out of this chaos soon

 

I hate migraines. I feel like mine aren't frequent enough to warrant a doctor visit but idk I may schedule one anyway. I never had one until 2 years ago and from then on I get them at least monthly. If I don't take something right away then I'm screwed. I noticed triggers can be dietary, lack of sleep, and stress. I try keeping snacks in my purse and to drink enough water, exercise, etc but I can't always control things like sleep. It sucks knowing if I get a restless nights sleep I'm pretty much guaranteed a migraine. Today I did everything "right" in regards to my triggers and I still got one. It wasnt symptom -> migraine this time, it was just bam migraine. I've had one like every week for the last 4 weeks. Commercials for migraine meds and Google said to see a Dr if u get multiple migraines a week but idk the increasing frequency is frustrating to me even if it's not as often as some ppl. I just hate this liiiife. Wanna go back to a blissful migraine free life

Edit: now my migraine is gone and this post feels dramatic and I don't wanna call the dr. But I only got like 3 hours of sleep because of it soooo tonight is probably gonna suck too

 

Been getting migraines since 5th grade, so I know the struggle. I went most of this past winter/spring with like one a month and now I've had like six in the past few weeks. For me if I don't immediately take something and go lie down in a dark and quiet room for an hour, there's no hope until I can get a full night sleep to recover. I feel like people who don't have migraines always think I'm overreacting, but it's literally the worst pain I've ever experienced.

 

I know before I got them i just thought it was a slightly worse headache so I def used to not get it but I do now! The first time I got one i had no idea what was happening and it was awful. I'm pretty similar where if I don't take something as soon as I feel like it coming, I cannot handle any light and I'll throw up. I get them often at night and I used to assume i could just sleep it off but it will always linger in the morning if I don't take something.

 

I am absolutely fuming at a coworker right now. I was working on a project, but went to lunch and when I came back it was done. To make it even more frustrating, she's not even working today!!! So now I get to sit at my desk and be bored because someone decided they couldn't not control every single thing in the office even on a day off. Apparently the manager even asked her not to touch it!!

 

i have a co-worker who send me brief random shit to edit in files / reports / presentations and it literally takes her longer to write the email and attach the file than it would for her to make the edits herself. but no, she sends me these odds and ends little bullshit things that take ten seconds, and yet she wastes five minutes typing a goddamn email and copying our entire department on them.

today she sent me a request that required me to click on the link she included in the email, change a cell from 221 to 117, hit save, and close the file.

somehow, she couldn't do this herself.

 

people who don't actually use the turn signal when driving are seriously the worst kind of people.

I am this way but ALSO my blinker has started deciding it’s only going to work half the time. So I’m that guy not signaling even tho ITS ON It’s just not working. I feel like an ass but it also makes me try and empathize. When I’m not in road rage mode I’m like ok maybe their blinker is broken too!! Yeah that’s blame it on that! Lol

 

I've gotten way too used to thinking 'there are people out there who have it way worse than you do' as a sort of coping mechanism but it doesn't make anything any easier

 

Thinking that way usually just made me feel worse haha

 

yo why does the fucking drivers side headlight go out in any car I drive for an extended period of time am I just cursed??? this is a very specific thing to keep occuring and I'm pissed

 

I've said this before but people that come to a grocery store at 9:55 when we close at 10 and proceed to shop a bunch are the worst

Idk how people do that. One time I googled a stores closing time and was like oh I have plenty of time so I went. But shortly after I started shopping they announced the store was closing soon because Google was wrong and I felt like a terrible person and hurried up outta there
