dealing with people who always think they come first can be frustrating - even in situations where they probably will..... that expectation really rubs me the wrong way, friends, lovers, work situations etc. its like a kid expecting their parent(s) to pay for all their nonsense if they get in any.... that sense of getting too comfortable comes off as total lack of appreciation to me.

 

Idg people. I know someone who is such an Eeyore and I don't understand it. I'm cynical. I'm a whiner. I get that part. But it's this specific woe is me whining I can't stand. Like do you really want people to do something with you or something for you because you've been whining about it and they just want u to shut up?? Is that really how you want people to view you? I get frustrated because they whine cause they want something and aren't getting it, but I'm like hey have you ever just stated what you want or tried to ask for it yourself instead of hinting and whining about it?? Cause honestly when people throw a pity party like that it makes me wanna not do it for them. Usually u can't please them anyway tho so even if I try to help them out they still find a way to complain.

 

Anyone else resent their parents for having them? At least ask the kid before conceiving them you selfish assholes.

 

When I was going through puberty that was a thought I had fairly often despite it not making a ton of sense hahaha

 

Life seemed to be settling down. Moved house, got it all set up as I like it and sorted all the teething problems. Then, last week I got quite ill (maybe from the stress of the move or just bad luck). I'm feeling loads better today.

Someone crashed into me as I drove to work.

Fuck all things.

 

Just spent 15 minutes on a job only to have my company's servers crash. Which means I don't get paid for those 15 minutes and I get to sit here, not getting paid, and wait for IT to fix everything I hate this fucking job.

 

I am so fucking tired of always trying to please everyone around me.

 

was picking my girl up from work in a collared shirt and i was getting some sauces from the lil sauces and such counter they have and i hear some clearly rich older white snob voice in the back going off about where is the milk thinking nothing of it in regards to myself but when i look up this guy is viciously looking me in the face and goes "WHERE IS THE MILK!?" clearly thinking i work there and aggressively coming at me about being inconvenienced having to look for something.
that's where he fucked up. 1) I dont work there, 2) I always got the time to shut that sorta shit down... and tbh his look immediately agitated me...

So I off reflex went "Why the fuck you asking me for?! I dont fucking work here, who the fuck you looking at so crazy?" and my girl (who does work there) comes up next to me trying to shush me all while trying to hold back laughter as the guy sulks off not making eye contact at all anymore.

Looking at her manager though I could tell she was like "YASSSS BOY! SHUT THEM SNOBS UP!" lol.

 

Made me chuckle

 

lol her manager is super sassy and always has the time for disrespectful people. That elitist "everything must be done for me" attitude cus they work right before the exit for tbe Hamptons thus alot of yuppies and richies, paired with my girl and her are the only women of color in a super white area at that job and all the nonsense that comes with that (my girl seems to have a new story every other day). She was amused lol.

Omfg I can't figure out how my heater works and it is so cold Im dying. It has a remote and it looks like it's in the correct mode but idk I think I'm not doing it right cause I have a unit on my wall in the living room and in my room and neither are working. It's so cold I can't handle life

 

Ok I think I figured it out. It just takes 1000 years to turn on. Im so happy. This must be how the caveman felt when he invented fire

 

when i go into work my manager always has the ac on and usually im the one getting teased for liking it cold in my old bedroom with my girl but omg when i go in to work i feel like im about to get frostbite within minutes. soon as he leaves and im left alone an hour into my shift i turn the ac off and i feel the same way lol.

 

Not really a frustration, but I don’t know where else to post it. But fuck Andy Signore from Screen Junkies. The news about him is so disgusting. People like him make me absolutely sick. The fact that higher ups covered it up for “the better” of their company is just awful.

 

went into my old job with my girl earlier today just to pick up some water and my girl mentioned to me walking out how my old manager was GRILLING ME but looking down when i looked up. No idea why she's mad at me, but i've felt it fora while. Why be mad I moved on? Even I could sense some saltiness when me and my girl were playing around just talking in line.
after i left everyone else quit, ion if she blames me but i mean if thats the case that just proves the issue is you not me lol.

I literally work with some of the worst peoeple. All of us on late shift are forced to rotate 12 hour shifts so each day 1 or 2 workers are working 12 hours forefully. They have no one on nights nearly but that's not our problem. They keep hiring mornings. Well I had to work my shift the other night and this lady wanted to be lazy and kick me out of my wing I was in for a full shift already and was suppose to stay. She avoids all other halls and does whatever she can to avoid it. I worked the large wing before and nearly hurt myself and a few days ago I hurt myself and she didn't care and told me I'm making excuses. Really sad how a co worker will pretty much tell you "I don't give a fk that you're hurt or almost got hurt and I want you to risk hurting yourself again therefore I don't care if you get hurt". I wanted to walk off the floor so badly. I was I tears how she treated me. I'm putting in my two weeks soon. I can't anymore with the bs and half shitty co workers.

 

Please glob don't present me any snobby rich fucks today, I can only smile in their face and laughing in my head at them so long before I finally blurt out "I really don't give a fuck about you or your I'm entitled to feeling entitled entitlement why do I even have to think or talk to you, bullshit." or laughing in their face cus they're SO worked up they had to think at all or didn't have everything done for them that they want you to answer to them but they continue to talk as you explain how simple their confusion is saying "No you don't understand"

No, what you don't understand is I'm not here to do it for you, you fuck, you won't die having to think and do something for yourself. I'm not even legally allowed to touch your shit to help so get your "My loafers/heels are too tight" shit outta my face.

 

Why do doctors have to talk so fast????? About to build myself a catapult and launch myself into the god damn sun bc I am so sick of dealing with these assholes.

 

People who talk to me/get mad at me for having talked to me with headphones on like thats something I did to them.

 

I've said this here before, but I hate people that walk all over you just because you're generally good natured and not fussy. Like, I have a close "friend" who I'm drifting with lately because she's so controlling and belittles me just because I'm easy-going and kind to people. People that make anyone intentionally feel like shit are awful.

 

My father and two uncles own a landscape company in my hometown. They are in their late 50s and early 60s and have been doing it since their late teens. They work REALLY hard so I could go to school, have a good life, have a fulfilled childhood ETC. They have been doing 60+ hour weeks April-November for decades.

A small group in my town hates the sound of leaf blowers. Enough that they are so vocal, and irritated by it, they claim its causing health and mental health issues. They convinced a city council to fast track a ban of leaf blowers in the city. The ban is on gas powered blowers, and has been in effect since April. Since April, the same 15 people have called police ~160 times, complaining about leaf blowers. 75% of the time the cops come, the landscapers have already finished and left, or ARE ABIDING BY THE REGULATIONS THEY WANTED, SHORT OF A FULL BAND (RAKES ONLY).

City workers, though, have been photographed on multiple occasions using gas powered leaf blowers, and not abiding by the new regulations.

It makes me blood boil that a few ill-informed, snobby elitists were able to put in place regulations that infringe upon my father's ability to make money for the hard work he does. Let me be clear, these new leaf blowers they are making them use 1) cost a ton of money, 2) are quieter than a vacuum cleaner and 3) take MUCH longer to finish a job, and don't do so with as much precision. Essentially, it costs more for the landscaper, the client, and does a shittier job.

They have called my father lazy because of his desire to use leaf blowers, but it doesn't even cross their mind that he had to miss some baseball games when I was a kid on Saturdays, or small family trips, because if he didn't use a leaf blower, and didn't work all week, he would LOSE clients and business.

Fuck these people.

 

To pay for school I'm a manager at a Sonic. Well, we get paid the 3rd and the 18th. So, last month, it was payday. I was opening. The person opening with me and myself really don't get along well with another one of the managers. They brought the checks early but hid them and forgot to tell us where they were. So she called, asked if had them, I looked, couldn't find them, and said we didn't.

Usually it takes her 20ish minutes to get to work. Well, apparently she was already on the way so she came in, asked again, and I said no. I didn't have time to call the GM immediately because we had a few orders and I wasn't gonna stop just to call and find the checks. I said I'd call when the orders were out. Or she could.

Anyway. So she left, apparently called our regional manager who hid them, and he told her we had them. Forgot to say he hid them though. Well, another manager (used to be our gm but moved to another sonic 20 minutes away. Same owner). Came by. I asked if they got left in his store. He called, found where they were hid and set them on the desk.

So she comes in for her shift and is raising hell because she thinks we hid her checks because we don't like her. She thinks it was a huge plan to keep her checks from her so she couldn't go to the bank. And then she started telling other employees that's what we did. I've never been so mad at a coworker before. I'm still fucking pissed. She's 41. She's acting like a fucking kid.

Just needed to vent.
