I'm a total car singer so I am for the practice, but I have a friend who sings so loud and feels herself like she's auditioning for the Voice and not only isn't she that great but she sings loudly over all my favorite parts so I can't hear them and it makes me sad lol. I def don't mind when ppl sing at concerts tho. I encourage all the singing and dancing.
Speaking of annoying people at shows when I saw Bruno mars we were next to this boring suburban looking family who seemed kinda not thrilled to be there but only came for their teenage daughters. They were in the aisle seats and were super rude about it!! Like sry you have to stand and move for ppl coming thru but ur in the aisle!! I said "sorry, thanks" as I walked past and the mom gave a rude response and I was like WELL THEN. Then when I was dancing the husband was like manspreading and taking up my space so I felt like I was dancing on him or something idk it was kinda weird and awkward!
Since we're talking about shows, I really hate being at a show where it seems all the tallest giraffes in the world are in the middle/in front of me so you can't really see around them. I get you can't help being tall but if you can see from basically anywhere why would you choose where you'd block the most people's view
Singing is cool at shows but I've had people next to me straight up screaming the lyrics in the most grating tone way louder than everyone else
also related I hate when people get mad at me for not dancing or wanting to stand up at concerts, I like sitting that's why I get seats
at the angels and airwaves concert in 2010, dude had his 5 year old daughter on his shoulders. I couldn't see shit + w33d smell was all over the place.
One time when I was at a gaslight anthem show I had this woman behind me who was yelling every lyric in my ear. Worst part was she didn't even know any of the lyrics so she just yelled random shit all night!
I always sing at shows but not like really loudly or anything but I am the obnoxious person that sings during the intermission set up time thing (I can't think of wordsss!!!). Like when i saw The Used and they played all BSB and Britney and TLC and such you know I was belting it out (horribly)!!
I don't think I've ever noticed anyone singing loudly at shows,as long as I can hear the singer sing I don't care
It only tends to bother me if someone is singing directly into my ear, which is something I try to avoid as I sing along.
Tall people. Which basically encompasses 84.6% of the population as anyone over 5'5 in my book is tall. I can't help I'm 5'2 on a good day. I'm on the cusp of oompa loompa midget status. I never can see the stage at concerts.
TV related problems. I'm borrowing my sister's tv stand and there's 3 glass tiers but the middle one keeps slanting down instead of staying level. I tightened the screws and it was fine for a days but it slanted again and made the stuff on the shelf slide down. Meh. Also my directv isn't working. I watched it yesterday morning but when I came home in the evening it wasn't working and still isnt. Idk if something is shorting or unplugged or if it's the satellite. I wiggled all the cords and turned the power on and off aka my two fixing methods but it didn't work. Meh again. Not the world's worst problems but I have like 3 more days of vacay so I'm running out of "zoning out in front of the tv all day" time.
I need new friends so bad. So sick of mine wanting to go to shows, making me buy tickets, and then them not paying me for MONTHS. Yet they can go out to eat, spend $50 at TJMaxx, etc. And it doesn't matter how many times I ask them for the money, they always have an excuse. It is getting really old really fast.
Just...don't let them do that. They'll keep doing it if you let them. Just don't let them walk all over you like that, that's fucked up.
Next time just buy your own ticket and if they end up not going its cool because concerts alone are fine anyway
