I made 1.50 today. This by itself is annoying enough but made even more annoying by the fact that my relief, in the first hour of being there, made 51 dollars.

I'd say stay in school kids but who am I kidding, most of these fuckers have degrees.

 

I hate supervising an employee. We made goals for them and I'm supposed to help them with theirs but I barely know my way around everything yet and I've never supervised an employee where you do more than send them on break lol. Then I have to work on my own goals I make with my supervisor plus do the job and I'm stressed. I feel bad cause I wanna help my employee grow and sometimes I feel lost and unhelpful

 

Supervising can be stressful. I've supervised food service and nobody listens. They say "ok" and go back to doing things wrong the next day and so forth. No matter how many times you reminded them, and how nicely you say it, they go back to doing things wrong. Basically they just don't care. I like to help people succeed but when I don't see improvement it makes me not want to try with them anymore.

 

Frustrations, eh? I had my gallbladder taken out on Thursday and I've been housebound and alone since then due to painkillers and not being able to stay with my parents because of a scheduling conflict. I walked to CVS (~.4mi each way) and came home in a decent amount of pain from the exertion.

I hate recovering from surgery. I hate it so much.

 

I'm gonna rant lol

My dad asked me if I could take my little sister to get some work clothes cause she got her first job. She suggested we go at noon but I suggested 4 since I have to go over to my dad's at 4 to babysit her and her bf so they're not home alone, so we can kill two birds with one stone (so I'm doing two things for her today). She just replies "ugh" and I kind of snapped lol and asked her what her problem is.

Now she's playing brand new acting like that's not a sign of annoyance. I looked it up. Ugh: "Used to show that you are annoyed, disgusted, or upset about something." She seemed irritated by me suggesting a different time and it's just a build up of me always doing things for her and her being rude so I snapped back. Now she's insisting she was not annoyed and didn't do anything. Like okay well words have meanings so use them correctly. But I think she knows exactly what it means and is annoyed that I called her out for being rude. Like I know it's dumb to freak over one word but she's consistently ungrateful when I do her favors regularly and I'm over it

 

@Kiana her bf can't take her if she has an issue with the time you want to go?

 

Her bf just got a license and doesn't have a car yet + his 6 months aren't up.

Which is fine. I have to babysit them later anyway so I figured we can just go when I have to do that. I usually pick my battles and am very passive but lately her attitude has just been getting to me. Her bf lives in a town 35-45 minutes away and I'm always driving him home so she can see him, or I babysit them cause they can't hang out without an adult and my parents won't be home tonight so I disrupt my life to awkwardly come over there and be a guardian. She can be really mean and I don't think she's used to ppl standing up to her, especially me cause I usually don't.

 

Sounds like she's unappreciative in all the things you do for her. I'm sorry you have to deal with it all.

 

How is she going to get to work? Not you surely?

 

Working on a Sunday. It's all OT, which is cool, but I feel exhausted and like my weekend is gone.

 

I get paid close to triple what I normally make when I work night shift on the weekends. I wish we didn't rotate bc I would work every weekend lol

 

Woah nice! If I got paid triple for OT I'd work as much as possible haha.

 

Ugh... got asked to come in to work last night, co worker asks to cover tonight... when will it stop? Plus I'm not covering a night shift when I have to be back at the doctor early tomorrow morning for test results, only to have to close. I've been at this job for nearly a year and I put in so much, never once got a raise. I deserved a raise. I also have one more week at this job and I don't want to start off my last week with having to come in. I'm done with it. I would cover and come in on my days off, come in early, stay late every opportunity I had and it got to the point where I wasn't seeing my pay rate in my paychecks changed so I stopped doing that. It isn't fair. I got paid the same as people who would stand around and do nothing while I was doing everything. It's truly disheartening to know I'm taking home the same amount in paycheck. It's also disheartening that I had constantly ask to work certain shifts. I would get crappy shifts all the time. Even on my last week, crappy shifts. You'd think I would be scheduled better shifts so I can leave on a higher note, but nope. I'm leaving this job feeling unappreciated (not that my hard work wasn't appreciated). I'm glad to be leaving. I was stressed out all the time. A big weight lifted on my shoulders.

 

I have no fucking friends left. No-one makes an effort to reach out to me, and when I reach out to them they eventually ignore my efforts.
Live is fucking lived alone & I'm done trying to live life any other way...

I think that is the ultimate reason they rotate us.

 

I think my dad will take her but I wouldn't be surprised if they try to rope me into it. She already hinted at me taking her this week but my car might be in the shop. She'll work right by my work. I've walked to work and it takes like 10-15 minutes. It's not far at all, but I'm sure she'll throw a fit

 

Did you at least catch any Pokemon on your CVS walk though?

 

I did - I picked up an Eevee, which was the highlight of the trip.

Downside: My belly button is infected now and I need to go see the surgeon tomorrow afternoon. Not sure if this is karma or just divine intervention keeping me from overtaking one of the local gyms...

 

spent the 2nd half of my day making a pasta sauce recipe that takes ~5 hrs and now I'm not even really hungry

 

I missed catching a starmie they was in the middle of the road

 

A Weepinbell escaped my wife last night and I was able to catch it and I felt very bad for her.

The reverse happened with a Koffing today though and I felt very bad for me.

 

My cousin is bitching at me bc I won't send my other cousin money for his books in jail or whatever. 1st cousin has a breathalyzer in his car that he has to blow into for it to run bc he's had so many duis. He's off probation and is too lazy to get it taken off and he's still paying $100 a month for it.

He's mad bc I told him to stop being a lazy fuck and go get it taken off and send that $100 to jail cousin. God, I hate my extended family so much.

I already took the fucker's kids to the dentist bc he wouldn't get out of bed. It's infuriating.

 

I have no sympathy for anyone that drives drunk

 

A friend of mine was nearly killed by a drunk driver. I lost my car because of a drunk driver. I hate how celebs "get away" with driving drunk because they have money and it makes my blood boil to see them smiling in their mugshot
