I'm really bad with that type of stuff. I think the interview was a few months ago. Me and those other interviewers were probably not good enough considering the made another job posting. For whatever reason places that do that shit, I kinda don't want to go back to that. It's like I feel someone else will give me a chance. If I'm not wanted then I'll take my good work ethic someplace else
Another double post. Once again my mom gets mad at me over nothing. She complains that I ate most of this food and I need to save some for my sibling because they like to eat it too. I told her that I didn't eat most of it, and there are times where I don't eat any at all and she's all "I don't make it often so I don't know what you're talking about" Here she goes again making excuses... as always. Sometimes when I bring it up I hear "you need to eat it sooner before other people eat it all" then I bring up how she'll tell me I need to think about other people but she doesn't tell other people that and says something like "I don't want to hear it" or some other shit. So it's okay for other people to eat everything and not save any for me, but if I do it it's basically a sin? I know this is really stupid to be ranting about, but it's something that always bothered me that she'd do and still does because its solid proof that I get treated differently and she denies it.
Saw something about mcdonalds being sued because its drive thru doesn't accommodate the vision impaired (not that I eat there). Woooow, people will come up with anything just to get money. Should I start suing places that don't "accommodate" short people? That would be stupid.
I hate when ppl leave me voicemails lol. If I can't get hold of someone I usually just hang up and text them instead, unless it's for like something more formal or professional. I hate checking my voicemail that robot lady talks so slow
Not to dismiss that but it's easy to get mad at something you don't have to go through. Now, is it silly to you that a visually impaired person went through a drive thru and was angry that they couldn't order anything due to their disability? Maybe so but as someone who is hearing impaired, I can understand that frustration.
I have pretty bad vision. I don't go around suing places because their menu board is too small to read for my eyes and they can't accommodate me. I've seen drive thru places accommodate for hearing impaired. They just tell you to drive up to the window instead. Reading the comments about the article people wondered why someone who is considered blind driving in the first place (dangerous much?) and at night. And why McDonald's? The thing that frustrates me is people going to these extremes just for money.
To be fair, people still believe that the coffee lady case was an attempt to milk the company when that was not even true. Like I don't know how bad your vision is nor will I judge that but for others, that's something they have to deal with on a daily basis. The point above all is that the company needs to accomedate, especially being as as big and prevalent as they are. It may seem silly to you but for someone in those shoes, it means a lot.
I read this about that McDonald's situation, and the blind person does have a point: "But the company's policy is not to serve pedestrians at the drive-thru, and blind customers can't drive, so they're effectively barred from patronizing the world's largest fast food chain by revenue, according to the suit, which seeks class-action status for all blind Americans who may have had difficulty ordering at McDonald's" My frustration though is that the USA is way too sue-happy. Wasn't there some guy who sued a dry-cleaners for $50million because they lost ONE pair of his pants?
@PandaBear! another extreme. I still think McDonald it's a little extreme... Didn't people try to sue because their food "made" their kids fat? Commenters also stated why that person wasn't with someone else and they can tell the person the order. What about people who don't own vehicles? I'm sure you can come up with saying like discrimination against those who are unable to have a vehicle therefore bike is the transportation etc. I went hungry a lot because places were closed by the time I was done with work and I had no one to take me. No bike allowed in drive thru.
I swear I posted this already but I don't see it in this thread. My sister keeps like 1 car length between her and the other car when she's driving. It drives me mad. I called her on it last week and her defense was, "I've been driving longer than you." It happened again yesterday and she took the same defense. My response was, "'I've been cooking longer than you.' 'Yeah, but you burnt everything.'" Since when does doing something longer than someone mean you're better at it? She seriously ran 2 red lights during a 20 minute drive. I'm telling her she's tailgating so she'll back up and be a safer driver, but she takes it as a personal attack. She also had her visor down yesterday while she put on chapstick or lipstick WHILE DRIVING. Holy shit. I wanted to say something but I also didn't want to have another argument. You can't help these people.
She sounds like someone who would respond with "but did you die" Speaking of drivers I wanted to post this but didn't so I guess ill do it now. I was driving home from an appt and I could have swore someone honked at me because I was "in the way" or cut them off from them to get over or something. No. I had the green on a left turn and was in the correct lane. No need to get mad at something like that
Now I'm being told about the importance of communication and transparency by someone who 90% of the time won't answer my calls or texts and in doing so is preventing me from speaking with my daughter.
Very few things are more annoying to me than not being able to sleep. I'm narcoleptic. It's just like Steph Curry walks onto the court and suddenly can't shoot threes anymore. Like, I do this while driving and now it's 2am, I got up at 8am and did school and went to work, it's time to fucking stop.
agreed. if you are calling me, you have a good reason to hear my voice, me hear yours, whatever. if i dont answer, likely in this world of contacts and saved numbers, leave a message. if you do not, i will not call you back, simple as that. plus a good text or email will get you a better response from me anyway.
Got asked to come in...on my day off...for few hours. I'm gonna say no because it's never for "a couple hours" for me. Plus I'm not doing another late shift. I have too many late shifts this work week. Although I would like the hours, I don't get paid enough to deal with this shit
When my mother calls me to tell me to go fuck myself and never speak to her again because I didn't give her the answer she wanted to fucking hear. Listen bitch, I wasn't there for the fight you and pop had so I can't be 10 years old again and pick a side. Hope I don't die in the next few days or before you decided to apologize to me because I'm pretty sure you will regret those being the last words you spoke to your only fucking Daughter.
I use to be an avid golfer back when I was in high school (dork alert, ik), I haven't picked up a club since I was a senior and decided I wanted to play again. Bought a new set of clubs off amazon and they got here 2 days ago and its done nothing but rain since they arrived....grrrr
Ahh I gotcha, I know over here it's been raining nonstop...it's been ridiculous. If you're ever in Texas and want someone to completely destroy in golf I'm your man. I love it but I'm awful.
