Our office has really good reviews, and my boss is a good boss. But they just don’t care about masks. I think more patients don’t wear them, than do. They care more about “upsetting” a patient by telling them to mask up, than what the state guidelines are. I can’t wait until the day someone complains.
Yeah I work for a place that doesn't consistently enforce them either. My previpus office I think the employees just didn't want to deal with the arguments and half of them don't believe in the mandates themselves. My current office is a bit better about it tho. But tbh I wouldn't mind the mask mandates staying for Healthcare facilities even after.
Started selling stuff on eBay. All going fine. Checked my reviews. One negative “expensive shipping” - then don’t buy it??? Not as if I charged them more after the fact. It’s listed as that price as I genuinely think that will be the cost.
I wouldn’t mind masks in health care facilities either. But seeing how my office doesn’t care... well there’s going to maskless people. But I know nearly everyone I work with is “anti mask” or most of them are
Can my friends babies grow up already. I've reached peak "every single friend has had a baby in the past 3 years" and can we fast forward... every single baby looks the same, the pictures are all awful, and boring, and the kids aren't doing anything interesting at all. Let's get to Jimmy's first baseball game, then Susan's graduation, and then were done
I reckon this would go viral on twitter. RELATABLE. Remember pre-covid when "do you want to hold the baby?" was more common a saying. In my head "Nope".
So my dad made the news again. Adrian Morris saga: Family divided as ex-doctor's sentencing looms I do love how they contacted my brother just so he could accuse everyone else of lying despite there being overwhelming evidence proving that everything against him was credible. But I wouldn't expect anything less from the golden child of the family, because he has always benefitted from my dad and I've always been treated like an afterthought at best by him. And I love the whole "family divided" thing when my dad is the one who tore the entire family apart with his scumbaggery. I hope he fucking rots. I honestly don't know he's able to sleep at night knowing the damage he's caused. UPDATE: He has since been sentenced. I still think he should have gotten way harsher of a sentence, but at least it's something. Longtime Capital Region psychiatrist sentenced to prison
Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Someone took my jacket at work with my car keys in it. Ughhhhhhhhhh. I don't have a spare and I live 30minutes away. Ahhhhh ughhhh! Booooooooo Or it vanished. My car is locked with no jacket in it. Theres no reason for me to have put my jacket anywhere else besides where I normally put it. I'll figure it out and shit happens (I oddly don't get too mad about these type of things. Mindless accidents and what not). But God damnit. Not after a double shift
These young youths are playing with this toy that can literally hit my car and dent it. It gives me so much anxiety making sure their toy doesn’t hit my car. I’ll be so livid if they do and I’ll have no choice but to speak to their parents and leasing office. If I was their age I would not be allowed to play with the toy where they are right now.
I fucking hate that shit. Parents at my apartment complex don't discipline their kids, and we've seen them dent cars. One time, a kid was running his hot wheels cars all along my fiance's SUV so she hit the autostarter to scare him away. The kids also just weave their bikes around parked cars. They're gonna get hit one day and it'll be their fault
That’s awful. If a kid touched my car I’d sound the alarm. I literally sat in my car until they went back inside to see if their toy hit it. I’m glad they’re outside and not on some tablet or watching tv, but living in an apartment complex, their parents need to teach them respect and appropriate places to play. One time these older kids/young teens were kicking around a football. Again, it made me really anxious that my car was going to get hit. I wouldn’t care as much if my car was old, just be afraid they’d bust a window, but my is still fairly new so I care a lot. lol. I even care that a rock or something hit the top of my car on the freeway the other day and I don’t know if it scratched it or not. I’m too short too see.
Ugh I'm always seated by a group of teens in the theater I like theaters and all but when ppl cry about them closing and lament the lack of the big screen experience, I want whatever experience they're having cause I'm always by rowdy teens
Lady at target literally stepped right in front of me (so close that she could have stepped on my toes) to put her things on the conveyer belt. Do people have no respect.
Work rant I asked the front desk at my work to help with something since I have a larger workload since we had someone leave. I got questioned basically saying what exactly I have that’s a lot on my plate -.- I explained and what I’m asking of them literally takes no extra time.
I asked my boss if I could take time off over 5 weeks ago and she still has not replied. I’ve sent her followup emails and she ignores them all. I reached out to my team lead today to see if she could help and all she’s doing is forwarding my email to our boss. She said she has a lot of requests so it takes time. It’s been 5 weeks!!!! My trip is 2 months away. I finally booked the hotel bc they have free cancellations but I can’t book anything else until I get the time off approved. It’s stressing me out and I’ve never ever worked for a company that takes this long to give you an answer. Seriously hate this place.
After a certain amount of time (less than 5 weeks), go straight to HR or your bosses boss to get it documented. Not great behavior ignoring your request.
Yeah everyone is remote. I don't even know who else to contact bc the only phone number I have is for my team lead. I don't even have any email for HR or anything. All our emails are supposed to be sent to this 1 person and they either address it or forward it. I have that person's email, my boss's email, and my TL's email. That's it. When I try to get in contact with anyone else they just say they will "forward it" but I honestly don't even know if they ever really do?? It's infuriating. And this is one of many reasons I'm actively looking for another job lol
@Jams thats very bizarre that you have no known way to contact HR! Although now that I think about it, I have no idea how to contact my HR and I work for a giant faceless tumor of a soulless company so I guess it’s not that surprising lol but maybe there is a contact or something on the company intranet page? Or main website for “contact us”? Otherwise I’d email your contact and ask for the HR contact. 5 weeks to hear about yes/no for time off is ridiculous. Busy or not, that shows a lack of caring and empathy by your boss.
I had a company/manager that took 5 MONTHS to approve a request. I ended up quitting and used my vacay as my “two weeks”
School pick up/drop off situations. I used to work at a school and the parents block all the entrances to park when they're in line instead of leaving space. Then sometimes when they would leave space they'd still flip me off or cuss at me if I went around them to park because they thought i was cutting the line. I have to pick up/drop off kids from school a lot now and parents stay blocking entrances to the parking lot for those who don't need to stay in the car line. Some schools let me temp park where the busses go since I have an agency car, but others are way stricter. The differences in policy and pick/up drop off layout give me soooo much anxiety. I know this school is gonna call me for being late but I'm stuck in the line.
