There are two different versions of the end credits scene for Morbius. Sony has no idea how any of this works.

 

Sony is canon-adjacent.

 

“Canon” & “lore” is for dorks tbh.

 

What makes it funny is that you can tell Sony wants to be connected to MCU canon, they're just the little engine that could at making it contradictory. It's odd.

 

Well, not so fast now. Some fans have already noted that there is this little boy featured in the trailer twice. First time you see him is the back of his head sitting next to Eddie in a van full of hippies and then you hear Eddie say the line, “There has to be a reason they’re after us.”



Purely speculative, obviously, but if the leaks had any semblance of accuracy to them then this could be either the supposed “Peter” that Eddie has kidnapped in order to protect him, or it could be just a kid traveling with said hippies, or it could be that Sony had planned to have Peter involved just like the original plans for Madame Web, and then those plans got yanked so they changed his identity. Second time you see him in the trailer is here, when you hear the line, “As long as Venom lives, everyone - every thing - will end.”



So there definitely is a kid involved in this somehow. We also got a quick look at the other symbiotes from the Life Foundation, which was also part of the leak, so it would seem like this trailer is holding quite a bit close to the chest since we’re still so many months out from release and this is mostly just a tease.

Strange. My uncle that works at Nintendo said something completely different.

 

My belief until proven otherwise is that Hardy & Marcel don’t know that they have cast members from other Marvel moves, and don’t understand or care about the multiverse aspect to that No Way Home credit scene.

(And to be clear, I think that’s good.)

 

Might be Lasher based on the color, although have we seen Toxin yet?
