Yeah I really liked this, super cheesy and all the better for it.

 

Interesting. I didn't know who she was, but among other things, she wrote the scripts for the previous Venom movies with Hardy, so I guess it makes sense to let her take command.

 

If you search for “Kelly Marcel” on these forums, you’ll find a lot of posts from me talking about how she and Tom Hardy are the real shepherds of this very fun franchise. She went from a late addition to the first one, to the sole writer of the second, with Hardy also gaining a “story by” credit on that one. Love this arc of these two taking over this series and just having a damn good time together.

Interestingly, Carnage was produced by Hutch Parker, who was at Fox when they decided to just let Simon Kinberg direct Dark Phoenix himself. I …like that mixed bag more than most, but I’m glad this franchise is in a much stronger place, lol.

The main villain should definitely be Knull, but make him camp. Take more inspiration vibe-wise from the 90s “Planet of the Symbiotes” story than from King in Black. And, let Knull be a guy in make-up half the time.

Knull does make the most sense. I don’t really see them ever building to him in the MCU so why not let him be in Venom 3.

 

I don't really like Knull, but I have to admit, it makes the most sense.

Expecting this to have a larger connection to the MCU. From Loki season 2, to Deadpool 3, to this, Mobius is getting around.

I do not want Hardy’s Venom crossing with the MCU anymore than he has. Just let a new Venom organically come to be in the MCU.

Leave the Sony Venom and all of his stuff in the Sony universe.
