Venom saying "Eddie you're a bottom feeder " killed me, their dynamic is so good I know other people have mentioned it but no way Cletus and Frances are both in their early 40s, she may be but Woody no way, I feel like Shriek was definitely underwritten Carnage was definitely one of the better comic book movie villains I liked how they showed Tom Hardy's weird tattoos because I imagined Venom daring Eddie to get them I hope Eddie doesn't have a security deposit on his apartment because that's out the window, pun intended I liked the spooky vibe with Ravencroft and Ellis
Speaking of. I did see this in a completely full theater Friday. I sat next to a random person and he leaned as far right as possible and I leaned as far left. Kept his mask on when not eating or drinking. Was nice to realize there are random people out there who give a shit
I’d say 1 out of every 20 customers have worn a mask this weekend, and most of them pull it down when talking to me.
https://variety.com/2021/film/news/...ing-weekend-record-tom-hardy-sony-1235079710/ $90 million OW, highest of the year. Broke the 2018 Venom’s opening weekend as well
I recently took a certification test for my job and they made me remove my mask to make sure I didn't have notes inside to cheat with and it definitely made me feel uncomfortable heh
Alright, I don't want to be that guy, but I'm dying to know if anyone understood the reference I made. It's killing me.
Saw this on Saturday afternoon in Dolby. I generally enjoy most movies, I thought the first Venom was fine, but this was awful. Just so so bad. The audience clapped after the mid-credits scene. At least it was short, and at least I saw it using A-List.
See, it's a picture from the Truth In Journalism fan video Adi Shankar made about Venom, from the scene where Brock's trying to convince the film crew to keep filming him and he leads them in a rousing chant of "CINEMA!" So it's a reference both to cinema and Venom. I thought it was a brilliant reference myself. Clearly I think this is super important.
