I'll never understand how these guys didn't blow up. Sisters of the Red Death was such a massive album, then they waited 8 years to put out two crappy EPs and vanished until now. Strange career arc.

 

They released two albums as Sirens Sister between Sisters and the EPs for some reason that is not entirely clear. The first one is actually pretty good. Couldn't have been the best career move though.

Is the production on this terrible or am I crazy? I actually really like it, but i feels like I’m listening to it through a wall.

 

I also noticed that the production sounded a bit muddy in places. It didn't really bother me throughout, but it stood out here and there.

 

Aside from that, I really love this. Those choruses are back in a big way.

 

Guys, this is fucking great. Also, I don’t understand how he can still scream like that.

A catchier, poppier, much much better sounding The Used IMO
