weirdly short set but still the heaviest shit I’ve seen live since I saw Dillinger escape plan in 09

 

Longest I've ever seen them play was their headliner which was maybe 35 minutes

 

Felt like they did a full 25 here but maybe time just moves slower when you’re making sure at every second that your face will remain intact

 

It was 30 minutes but most direct support bands do 45 in my experience

 

more shit could conceivably happen to you in 20 minutes in the Vein pit than in 45 for basically any other band

 

I would love to see them now that I'm really into them, I saw them open for Glassjaw and they we're hard as fuck but noone in the crowd was feeling them.

 

I got punched in the head 5 seconds into Vein’s set last time I saw them. And I was in the back of the room. So yeah. Haha

 

the set was absolutely ridiculous tho for real. like so fucking heavy

I just got to Vein’s show tonight in SLC and all the bands are in the parking lot boxing and lifting weights haha. Im gonna start doing that at my band’s shows, but with like… 5 pound weights.

Shoegaze band that's just members of Vein + MIRSY (Anthony's girlfriend). They put out a really good demo at the start of covid but nothing since other than a Bjork cover

 

Looking forward to new tunes from Fleshwater, that EP is so good

 

stoked for the fleshwater release...i honestly like that three song demo more than vein's last album. let's hope they press more than 100 copies of the physical version of this assuming we're headed towards that.

 

Yessss flesh water is really good
