Yeah this was fucking sick

 

so they're changing the name to Vein.fm???

Why and I don't that's good for their progression. Going to be confusing and people are just going to say vein anyway

 

I don't see anything on their social media that even mentions "vein.fm" sooo shrug-a-lugga-ding-dong

 

Their music vids on YouTube are labeled as Vein.fm but it’s still on Bandcamp/Spotify as Vein

 

It's still just Vein on Twitter and Facebook too.

 

Vein.fm would suck

 

they are officially known as Vein.fm now

 

Their new merch says Vein.fm as does the cover artwork for the new record - pretty confident the name change is official.

I have a tour shirt from last fall that has Vein.FM on it. Closed Casket also has Vein.FM in the name of all of the merch on the store. Assume someone else has the rights to the name.

 

They're obviously just big fans of this site

 

Can't pretend I care about the name change.

 

Vein.fm is... not great. Wonder why they changed it. If there was some kind of copyright issue then I guess the change could be worse. Though that seems unlikely

 

Music is Vein.fm visuals are Vein.tv. Either way people are still just gonna call them Vein. Not a big deal.

 

It’s very bizarre

 

Vein is such a cool name. Adding .FM to it adds some cheese to it. Prob copyright stuff they couldn't control. Kinda a bummer but also not really. Ready to listen to this here in a few.

 

I’m fine if it’s a copyright issue, but have they clarified as such?

Can't wait to scrobble Vein.fm through Last.fm and talk about it on Chorus.fm

 

Better Vein.fm than Vein BC or Vein (US) or Weekend Nachos.

edit: And it's not like you all are going to stop calling them Vein. Pretty sure this is just a stylistic choice ala Prince deciding to go through his The Artist Formerly Known As... phase. If this is how they want to progress their art and band, it's cool by me.

I feel like the argument “you’re gonna call then Vein anyway” doesn’t really work lol. Like, yeah people are gonna keep calling them Vein because.... Vein.fm isn’t a good name change. Which is kinda the point

anyway I couldn’t care less what they call themselves, just keep bringing the tunes

 

Can’t get over the new version of “heretic”, it absolutely goes inward
