new tracks sound like an extension of MVOTC mixed with the explorative side of FOTB. great stuff!

Capricorn is nice, but kinda feels like the band at their least exciting in my opinion. Still nice and smooth, but feels slightly safe maybe. Gen-X Cops is super interesting musically, I don't love it, but I like it

 

Dig the songs. Hearing some hyper pop influences which I honestly feel like we should’ve seen coming.

Capricorn is for sure very safe and in their wheelhouse but it’s such a good execution I can’t not love it

Both songs are great. Nothing earth-shattering, but my hype is still through the roof for this record. Listened once and going to leave it at that. Want to preserve the release day play through.

Great songs, but agree with above. Very Contra. Which I love. But I’m gonna miss that FOTB sound they were moving in. This feels more in line with Contra/MVOTC for sure.

 

Glad I’m not the only one that was thinking Contra. Which to me is the definitive VW album, so I’m not mad! Loooooove Capricorn.
