Chipping away at some work with the full on Jam Band set from Vampire Weekend at Coachella playing. People give FOTB shit, but I think brought a lot to their live set and they are on a whole other level with the release of the new one. Cannot wait for the show this Summer.
@irthesteve Any chance you're holding a link to the Justice set as well? Would super appreciate one, thanks man.
I had a nightmare last night that the Primitive Radio Gods wouldn’t clear the drum sample for Mary Boone so the world never got to hear the track. The horror.
this is my favorite of theirs by a decent margin. Every one of their albums has 2-3 tracks that I find pretty irritating, usually a melody that annoys me or something. This one is legit 10 for 10 for me; even my “least favorite” tracks are a really enjoyable vibe I wouldn’t skip.
I haven’t had a chance to listen to it on vinyl yet despite buying it weeks ago maybe I’ll do that tomorrow
This LP rules in a special way. The piano parts definitely shine brightest, but the rhythm section is right behind ‘em as a close second.
