the only downfall of this concert recording is that its 128kbps, just a bit higher quality would be the cherry on top
Yeah, I was gonna ask how it sounds because I became a little sceptical when I saw it was 128. But I’m assuming it’s at least listenable since many of you have posted about it.
i've listened to enough audience tapes that it doesn't bother me, but it is sort of odd for a SBD to be that low quality. wonder if they have their own sound person or if it was a house guy doing it, that would explain it. they need a Betty Cantor
Yeah 100% listenable, just have to turn my speakers up a bit more and not quite hear as crisp as I would prefer. Still going through the whole thing though, regardless
Yeah I don't mind it. A good AUD is a nice treat. Get the crowd energy. The quality of some of the early 2000's bootlegs I listened to for writing reviews and any interesting nuggets putting together Brand New Archive... *shudders*
my favorite kind of audience tape is the kind where it sounds like it was recorded underwater BUT ALSO in a closet somehow
Oh. My. God. The end of "Sunflower" on the live version is phenomenal, what I wouldn't give for a studio recording with the extended outro. Wow.
Were they doing proshot video at this show? Looks like it from youtube. definitely getting some kind of release then
Well, it's been 7 hours, but I have made it to the last track of the live set. Spent all day listening through this at work and now it's time to go home! Really super solid set, wish I was there to see it in person!
Also listened to the whole set, really a fantastic performance from beginning to end. Ezra's voice got a little tired towards the end it sounded like, but damn I guess anyone's would.
