I really feel like 90% of albums don't leak anymore since we've entered a more digital world where it's harder to obtain physical media ahead of release.
I still think it is surprising though just based on how many people I have seen post pictures showing that have already received their vinyl, CDs and cassettes.
There are hardly ever pre-release streams anymore too. Seems like 5 years ago, every album was streaming on some random music blog a week before release. Now it’s just NPR doing it.
ah, didn't realize people had it in yet. Yes that is different haha. I also wouldn't exactly call that a "lea" in the traditional sense. Is it a leak if it's been legally sold?
Tons of people have been posting pics of them holding it in all different formats. I guess it went out and on sale early in some places.
Bought tickets for their summer tour. It was pretty much sold out but someone listed their tickets for less than the original price so I had to snag them.
Listening now while stuck in bumper to bumper traffic which means I may even get to listen to it twice!
