I’m really liking this. I’m sure it will be in constant rotation for a while

 

Saw them at Furnace Fest and thought they sounded great. Talked to Kevin briefly at their merch table and he seems like a really nice, genuine guy.

Haven’t listened to this band in over a decade, but just randomly checked out a single they put out today. I think I’ve been missing out. Sounds like something a lot of Valleyheart fans would like

Yeah, they did in summer 2019. I went to one of the shows

 

Their music from the last decade has been consistently great. Violence is maybe my favorite thing they’ve done. I don’t really jibe with a lot of the lyrics but the music rocks. I almost put a song from them for the music league’s music>lyrics week

 

Yeah, Behold is the record I remember checking out last and I think it was the lyrics that kept it out of consistent rotation. IIRC they’re pretty religious? Music is great though - I’ll give Violence a spin sometime!

 

Yeah, very religious. The lyrics on Behold are straight up worship lyrics

 

Is that still the case?

 

Their lyrics are still pretty religious but not as much. They’ll write songs about other topics and use more metaphors instead of directly talking about god.
