So happy to see he’s putting out a new album. New song sounds, well, like Valley Maker, but I like it.

This is out today and really good. I’ve always loved Austin’s lyrics. Some really nice instrumentation too. Too bad me and @Gjpeace are the only ones that know about this though.

Yeah, he's definitely under the radar for most people. I think this album would actually be a good starting point for many, as it expands his sound nicely while still maintaining his usual style. I put it on this morning while I was getting ready and really enjoyed it a lot, but I won't form a good opinion of it until I'm able to give it a good listen in the car (which is where I do most of my listening at this point).

"A Couple Days" was the first song on my Apple Music new music mix, immediately went to listen to the rest of the album. about half way through and this is solid.

Three listens in and really enjoying it. Love Amy’s vocals. They have always complimented Austin well. I’ve always thought Valley Maker was a band this site would eat up.

Gave this one kind of distracted listen earlier and enjoyed it. I was a fan of his last one and this seems like a good continuation.

Rhododendron is the first "album I missed in 2018" 2019. Damn good stuff.

Excited for the new one! I liked Rhododendron at the time of release (as evidenced by my posts above), but it didn’t sink in the way Yes I Know... did. I’ve returned to it these past few weeks though and am loving it. First three songs on there are some of his best.
