Valencia Teasing Something

I feel pretty confident this is a Dancing With a Ghost vinyl pressing. The hashtags are lyrics in Consider Me Dead, & there's a lion on the cover of that album. Kind of lol

 

Holy fuck time flies, I guess it's also the 10 year anniversary of the album release in October. Unfortunately we're not gonna get an album play show of this unless its a drive in thing

 

At least they will have vinyl for all of their albums then. Did Dancing With A Ghost ever have an initial pressing?

 

When this came out I wasn't a huge fan but I just listened to it again today and don't know what I didn't like about it then because its great!

I don't think it was super well received for some reason. I can't recall how it was reviewed but I remember talking about it among a bunch of Valencia fans at the time & they didn't really care for it. I return to this WAY more often than their first album, it rules.

 

I love Valencia, and DWAG is by far my favorite album of their's. Would LOVE a vinyl pressing and maybe a livestream show, especially since I never got to see them live

 

These guys were part of my local scene when I was a teenager, and I always forget that their fanbase goes way beyond just the Philly suburbs, haha. It’s always cool to be reminded of this.

 

Their first two albums I spun to death in college and shortly after. Never loved Dancing with a Ghost as much.

 

I think DWAG has some of their best songs but kinda falters as a whole album - some of the songs don't flow that well together. Love Valencia forever though.
