The first time I saw Valencia back in 2008 a group of girls literally had the band sign Valencia oranges.
There are just about 100 tickets left in Philly. Even though it's not sold out yet, this is already the biggest headliner we've ever done. We're so humbled and grateful that this many people are coming to see us after being gone for five years. There are still four days for you to get tickets to Philly. Don't sleep. This may not be the last you hear from us but there's no telling when the next time will be.
I'm shocked they're gonna sell out The Fillmore.. I guess I underestimated their popularity When I saw TEN/The Movielife there at the beginning of the year it was about half full
PHILLY IS SOLD OUT. We're doing a free acoustic show TOMORROW in Philly @ Creep Records at 3 PM: 1050 N Hancock St #76, Phila, PA. First come, first serve.

The Closest I Am To Living Life on the Edge Carry On Can't See Myself 3000 Miles All at Once Stop Searching Where Did You Go? ---- Free Tenth Street The Space Between Personally had a great time tonight. Valencia is my all-time favorite band and tonight for their cemented that. The band sounded great and had a pretty solid stage presence. The crowd was a different story though - lots of people who either haven't been to a show in a while or just didn't get the concept of "if the crowd is too rough for you...leave." Can't even count how many times I was afraid someone was about to punch someone else over the crowd, which was ridiculous imo. It wasn't too crazy, only a few surfers until The Space Between, and it wasn't too pushy but it did have a solid amount of movement going on. Wish I could be there tomorrow as well but I can't call out of work - but I'll take one show over none. I had a great night and hope it's not another 5 years until their next show. Also - side note - weird that they came back for "the 10 year anniversary of TCBAP" and did not play the full album lol
sound wasn't great though i'll say that. there were a lot of feedback issues and looked like Shane was having a ton of problems with his in ears and hearing himself on stage
I mean the show was fun...the band was fine but he was struggling the whole time; more than just with his ear piece.
i'm confused that anyone would want to "mosh" to valencia lol maybe some jumping and a little pushing but
