damn, sucks that you had to give it to a company that presses things solely based on label permission and doesn't actually give a shit about artists, rushes preorders ahead of band's official preorders, and is totally shitty at customer service
nah, stopped after i kept getting harrassed non stop by people voicing vocal support for nothing and swans and stuff, actively going after me and apologizing all the disgusting things those bands did. became not fun and i at least was back on here rather than being banned on AP (which was the initial reason i started posting so much). not to mention the new forum looks so horrible, haha
idk something about the community rubbed me the wrong way, just really didn't give a shit about things i felt were important other than a few people, that's why i generally like here a lot more.
We are blown away at how quickly the pre-sale for both shows sold out. Remember: general on sale for NYC (12/27) and Philadelphia (12/28) begins tomorrow at 12 PM EST. Head to http://valencia.shofetti.com for links to buy tickets for each show when they go on sale tomorrow. If you can't make it to either show, you can still pre-order the vinyl pressing of TCBAP by going here: I Surrender Records
There are just about 100 tickets left for NYC and a little more for Philly. Don't wait until the last minute to get yours. The shows are close to selling out and we still haven't announced who will be playing with us yet.
Hoping to get some solid support. I was really pleased with the final show support (Every Avenue, Hit the Lights), so I hope some cool bands get added.
NYC is 600. Not sure about Philly but The Fillmore ballroom says 2500. Not sure if they're playing a side room or not.
There is a smaller room in the Fillmore called the foundry but I'm pretty sure Valencia is playing the big room.
If you look on the website, it has River Oaks playing the smaller room while Valencia has the big room next to their name.
Goddamn it. My friend is an idiot and bought a ticket to Philadelphia instead of NYC so now looking for one ticket to NYC if anyone can find one. Can trade a ticket to philly plus a few bucks or pay for it.
Restorations is opening up for Philly. Punchline opening for NY. Announcing another band for both shows next week.
We're excited to announce that our friends in Can't Swim will be joining us for BOTH the NYC and Philly shows! NYC is completely sold out, but there are still some tickets available for the PHL show! Head to http://Valencia.shofetti.com to get them before it's too late!
