Valencia – “Pieces”

Dancing With a Ghost is such a great album.

I wonder if they're drumming up attention for a comeback run of some kind.

 

They've got a couple holiday shows coming up, and they released a new song a few weeks ago. Fingers crossed.

 

This might be my favorite Valencia song. Happy to have it on Spotify.

 

Haha, totally forgot this was the title of the hidden track. Pulled up all "NEW VALENCIA!!!" and then I pressed play and was sooo confused for a good 5 seconds

 

Favorite Valencia song! I opened for Shane’s acoustic tour last year and got to request this song specifically

 

I'd like to think if they put out a new album that was as good as the rest of their catalog, and then got some tours with bands like TWY, Neck Deep, TSSF, etc, they could get back to their peak popularity and find new fans.

But that's a lot of wishful thinking and I know touring isn't appealing to a lot of guys who have already tried it for years.

 

Great song.

 

The b-sides for this album are all top-notch. “Airwaves” is maybe my favorite song by them.
