Love to see no motiv love. Most underrated vagrant band?? Maybe. Maybe not. But they are sooo good live. Throw in some hot rod circuit and I would die.

    Give what you can.

Vagrant had so many fucking underrated bands it’s ridiculous. No Motiv, Koufax, Moneen, Hot Rod Circuit... Mmmf.

    Aaaachem!

I remember when the Wherehouse Music (formerly Blockbuster Music) went out of business near me in like 2002 or 2003. I bought every cd I could find with Vagrant on it. Pretty much all the bands you mentioned for like 90 percent off. Good times.

Well played- I’d have done the same thing. I miss having a label to have that kind of faith in.

  5. The good ol' days... Drive Thru and Vagrant were labels I had complete faith in back in the day. I'd get all of their comps, as well as Fat Wreck and Epitaph. But really, if there was a free compilation from any label, I'd usually take one.

I was obsessed with the Atticus comps!

Right there with ya. I’d hop on the Vagrant and Drive Thru websites every day after high school to see if there was a new E-Card or anything with a new band or record on the way. Then one day I found ap.net through the links page on Allister’s site and like 18 years later here I am.

  8. Did anyone see the Thrice boxset announcement at the bottom of Vagrant's website? Is it an Alchemy Index repressing?

Matt's podcast Nothing To Write Home About was the first podcast I used to listen to and I loved it, so it will be nice to get something new. Especially seeing that Vagrant used to deal with many artists I grew to like so much!

    So assuming that this weekend...

I cannot emphasize enough how much the first two Atticus comps influenced me as a young teenager. It makes me happy to see that I'm not the only one.

  11. 2 and 3 were the soundtracks of entire summers for me along with the 2004 Warped Comp.

Oh absolutely. The first Atticus comp is one of those albums that I remember exactly where I was and what I was up to the first time I played it. Probably the best $4.99 I ever spent.

Also, it’s perfect for this time of year as is starts to feel Summery. I don’t think I have a CD player anymore but I will damn sure be blasting an Atticus playlist this weekend.
