I wish I liked this more. She definitely seems to have potential. "Fear and Force" is awesome and "Cold Apartment" is solid. But too many of these just never really gel for me. Have to keep her on the radar for future releases.

 

V excited to see her tomorrow.

 

Damn, she was incredible. Second best set I've seen this year after Snail Mail. Shame she only played 20 minutes. Set list for anyone curious:

even when she headlined a release show she only did 25

 

I got my replacement copy of this in the mail yesterday, really makes a noticeable difference. Kudos for Father/Daughter for making this right.

this session gave me chills. holy shit what a powerful voice.

 

Just listening to this for about the 20th time and the Persian Garden EP for the first time. Confirms my feelings that the production on the album is absolutely incredible. Seeing her on Thursday. Infinite Worlds is one of the AOTYs imo.

 

Her touring with Pinegrove over the summer is going to be the fucking best

 

So I went to see her yesterday with my buddy who had never heard her before and we were both blown away. It was a short set obviously as she has so few song but I was desperate for more! Only slight disappointment was that she was solo but she sounded AMAZING and I really liked the reworked versions of the song. Got the record afterwards and got her to sign it afterwards (bit of a tradition whenever I go to a gig with this buddy). Anyway Laetitia is so lovely and I think she's going to be a big star. Probably my AOTY and gig of the year so far.

what an amazing two days that will be

 

Wow! She was so so great today at Pitchfork. Such an entrancing artist. Her emotions radiate from the stage. She said herself she's a woman of few words, but she doesn't need words, her music speaks for itself.

 

She was wonderful last night.

 

The Detroit date is the day after Paramore, and I don't think I can justify driving to Detroit two days in a row again. Doing it this past weekend for Pinegrove/Circa Survive was not fun.
