I posted something about my short stint driving for Uber as a side gig pre-pandemic in another thread, and was reminded of this time a dude got in my car and after like 10 minutes of mostly silence goes “yo what the fuck IS this we’re listening to?” It was the week Wavelengths came out and I had it on repeat lol. He saved the record on Spotify while sitting my car and left a review on my driver page hours later that was like “Yo Vacationer is my new favorite band good looks bro!!!” Anyway yeah I’d kill for some new Vaca and I bet that guy would too
Ha. Note to self: do not bump Vacationer threads for any reason besides THE reason. I too am craving new music from them.
