I like Magnetism a lot but I hate the way it cuts off at the end, I know when the album releases it'll make sense and probably be an amazing transition but until then it is very frustrating lol

 

Song made me feel kinda high.

 

100% agree with how it ends, it's bizarre

 

It sounds weird on the album too. I thought it was a mistake.

 

That's disappointing then haha I assumed it would bleed into the next track kind of mixtape style.

I am definitely loving how this album is sounding like a throwback record with modern production. He's working much more from a continuous loop in these songs but still keeping things interesting.

 

Loving these new jams. Saw Vacationer at Pinelands Festival a few years back and they killed.

Haven’t listened yet, but I’m currently en route to Miami to leave for a Caribbean cruise tomorrow. This is going to be an appropriate soundtrack for the week.

Love the beats on this, he brought back the grooves in a big way. On the flip side, and maybe this is just something that will take time, there aren’t many memorable hooks to be found here. Hallucinations through the end is a great run of tracks though, probably my favorite section.

Definitely agree with this. Not really very many catchy hooks and the vocals are kind of buried or at least have a lot of reverb, but that’s kind of the direction of this album. Grooves that are mostly more hip hop and funk than the last two records. That said “Blue Dreaming” is my jam so far.

 

Maybe my favourite Vacationer album. Love this style. “Turning” is so sick.

 

I was listening to this while doing yard work earlier. I really enjoy this. Perfect for those hot summer days. Also it got me to turn off The Sidekicks latest album which is my usual working in the yard music preference.

 

I’m playing this front to back while fishing on the coast today.

 

Even if everything else is way different, I still hear the starting line occasionally in the vocal melodies... I really want a new album from them. This is cool though

 

It's silly to say, but this is definitely the most chill of all their albums haha. Not a ton standing out at first, but it's more solid summer music

 

My sister pointed out Magnetism sounds like the Mii channel music and now I can’t unhear it

 

ok that's hilarious

 

This has grown on me a ton already
