Perfect, it’s mostly for you. Lol. I just really appreciate as always how you’re all there for me as a sounding board for what’s going on, whether it’s serious or silly or painful or happy. Having a place that is validating but also doesn’t let me slide on things is so valuable, especially lately.

Like I was stressing all day about what to say to my cousin, and just being able to come here and say, “Ok, here’s something I did. What can be my next step?” was enough to clear my head about it and get the gears in motion for any kind of coherent thought to pass along. I could vent my anger and frustration in a place where it wouldn’t blow up in my face or completely derail what I was hoping to do, and I have the slightest glimmer of hope that because I stepped back and processed for a while I maaaaaaay have done a tiny bit of good. I may have been able to do that on my own at some point, but posting about it here made it happen a lot faster for sure.

I just want everyone to know that what you do has helped me a lot since I started posting here and I want to keep saying that whenever I think it because I know most of us struggle with negative thoughts about ourselves a lot of the time.
