Ended up going to a protest after my haircut

 

It's a gift and a curse because now it's the only way I know what is happening where and when

The haircut place is in the same block/commercial area where the protest started and my haircut lady (do we call them barbers? stylists?) asked if I was going. I couldn't refuse after knowing the info

A friend from HS posted a story of her listening to a mix I made her 11 years ago and said it's still good. I'm so curious what's on it. It's from my pretentious phase where I listened to some awesome music but was so attention seeking about being ~different and finding music from Pitchfork. I had good taste but was insufferable af lmao I can't believe I even had friends to give mixes to.

The music was good! My pretentious attitude was not lol. I tried to act like I wasn't pretentious. I'd be like "omg I'm not a hipster! My music isn't boring!! I'm not pretentious!!" Like lil Kiana, nobody said so or asked lol

 

I’ve been thinking about this so much lately. Like I have a great memory (to my detriment) and I remember all of the countless terrible pompous insufferable things I said or vented about when I was on forums as a teenager and I honestly have no idea how all the adults on there put up with me the entire time. And many are still friends with me?? They have to be saints, I would not have been able to stand it.

I go to a salon, actually getting my hair cut on my porch on Thursday. I haven’t been getting my hair cut by her for super long but her coworker and friend did my hair since I was 4 (she retired) and it’s small list she’s willing to do. Looking forward
