It's the Motorola MG7550, i've been trying everything to get it to work, port forwarding, enabling UPnP, DMZ, etc.

I finally just googled Nintendo Online MG7550 and found this reddit thread and a bunch of people have the same problem, one person said Motorola sent him a different, upgraded modem and that seems to have solved any issues. I emailed Motorola earlier tonight asking for the new modem so we'll see what they say

 

Feels weird living through history

 

feels weirder when people are like this is one for the history books and I'm like who will be here to read or write those books because of climate change

 

that's just so fucking weird that some modem doesnt work with a fucking Switch, as low-tech as it is.

I have a lower-numbered motorola modem and have no issues.

 

Well it appears to be not just the Switch, I think this is also the same issue my brother was having trying to play online COD Warzone on his XB1 the other day, I just gave up on that but after looking it up with regards to our modem, same thing, lots of people experiencing the same issue. I don’t know how you can release a modem that faulty lol, it's not like it was cheap either. It works great for everything else but you just can't play games online apparently
