it’s super jarring to think that I can never connect with that stuff in the same way ever again, despite the fact that their music genuinely shaped me as a person. It’s like this gross shame closet now. While that stuff was saving my life it was ruining somebody else’s.

I was literally like obsessed. It was my personality. Everybody in the UK knew me as the BN guy. Really did wake me up and made me realise you most definitely shouldn’t worship your idols the way I did.

A little while ago I saw someone ask about dumb regrets about insignificant things like purchases and what not and for a long time my story would have been Brand New had copies of TDAG on gold from Australia I think when I saw them in 2011 at this venue that was closed fairly shortly after as the nightclub (separate building same people) someone got stabbed and died. That’s Baltimore unfortunately. I also went to the record release show for the last Turnstile record and didn’t get the record release. I bought a glow in the dark shirt that’s cool as hell tbh but wish I could have bought both
