Everything online: drive thru testing walk ups welcome but we recommend making an appt!
I thought ok I’ll make an appt
Spend several minutes on hold and finally get the option to have them call me back
Wait more than an hour
They finally call back and are like oh we’re scheduling you for a CALL tomorrow morning which THEN you’ll get an appointment
Then they’re like now hold as we transfer you to someone else to take your info
Which is where I’ve been for 10 minutes now

like this is so fucking complicated I should have just driven there bc apparently that would be easier -___-

 

When they first started doing the testing in NY, you had to make an appointment to MAYBE make an appointment to wait in line to be tested. And even then, they would assess the symptoms over the phone and at first if you didnt have a fever, you didn't get an appointment to be tested...kinda just told to stay home. Now that it's been a few weeks, it only took my bro a few hours to be tested last week. (He's negative)

 

Yeah granted this is pretty much the FIRST testing our county is offering and it’s for people with AND without symptoms

also they just hung up on me and now I’m pissed
