if the stylist is wearing a mask and gloves, and their client is also as wearing a mouth covering, do you think there could exist a safe(r) environment where stylists could resume work? even if they staggered schedules so like, maybe only 2 people have clients at a time?

i'm not as quick to blame people like that for "risking everyones lives" as I am the idiot beach-goers and protesters, i think if intelligent minds come together there could exist a safe workplace for people in that industry

They're both filled breakfast pastries and covered in icing!

One is extremely dry and crumbly, while offering little in terms of filling. Advocates for this breakfast treat encourage fellow eaters to add butter to compensate for an overall lack of moisture and flavor.

Meanwhile, the other has ample filling, and is buttery and flaky on its own.

    Seems like a no-brainer.

You could also try drinking liquid as you eat it. I like some room temperature orange juice with my dry af poptarts.

I would much rather have toaster strudels, but they don't travel well

I think you covered the extent to which they can go as far as being "safe," I just don't see how it's worth the risk, in my opinion. Her salon for example is going to have quite a difficult time operating within these guidelines. They have 30 stylists, they're all going to be working extremely reduced hours to fulfill social distancing and staggering shifts, probably to the point where they're going to be making very little money that it's not even worthwhile. They should have made it easier for those in that industry to collect unemployment from the beginning, Jocelyn got lucky she qualified because she worked for a company in 2018/19 and wasn't self employed so I totally get why most stylists are eager to get back to work, but to me I just see it kind of as a "luxury" service, I don't see how getting your hair done right now should be one of the first industries opening back up. They got lumped in to the same category as tattoo artists reopening, which to me is one of the very last things i'd consider a service that needs to be performed right now.

all fair points, and i don't disagree with any. i think i'm just sort of preparing for all the unconventional practices that businesses are going to adapt to just to let themselves re-open, whether it's the right time to or not. i don't see any businesses actively staying closed once they're told they can re-open, and even though it's still a personal choice whether to choose to patronize yet, i think most people's desire to support their local business or simply just get the hell out of the house is going to weigh on them larger than the health hazards still present.

There were a few salon owners in her FB group that said they weren't going to reopen yet because they don't feel it's safe to do so, whether or not they actually follow through with that though, we'll see, I doubt it myself.

It's unfortunately a very selfish industry, clients are loyal to an extent, if you move from one salon to another within close proximity you'll likely get them to follow, but in this situation, those who may be uncomfortable going to back to work already and want to wait it out a little longer are sealing their fate as a stylist and going to have to start over from scratch because all their clients will just go to someone else.

supreme selling a benefit shirt for youth who are homeless during this time is very good

the bad being that they are only selling it for $60 while re-sell of the shirt will be around $300-$400
