It probably wont land in my top 5 but its a good show. If it werent for quarantine’ing i probably wouldnt have even come back to it to be honest lol

 

Oh yeah, it’s very good as a whole, but it has some major flaws and problematic tropes that hold it back from being top tier. I think watching on a binge made those aspects stand out even more. Carrie is truly incredible though.

 

Yeah Nora is very easily the best thing about the show. I miss Jill.

 

Yeeesss, Margaret is one of my favorites. I’m glad she’s been in so much lately.

 

I can’t commit to 80 episodes of something my attention span is shit compared to what it used to be

 

It's very good but too scary to watch right now imo.

 

Nora Durst is a national treasure.

 

I’ve talked about it before but The Leftovers was airing during a particularly rough time I was having and it really helped me through that and I can’t really separate what it means to me personally from any objective feelings on the show. It’s like comfort food for me.

Yeah I do not relate to the people flocking to watch media about pandemics or mass death right now at ALL.

My mother is that way about The Americans. Watching it while she healed from her hip replacement connected it in her brain to getting better/feeling comforted and strong, so she has watched it through like five times in a year and a half. She even watches it to sleep sometimes and finds it super relaxing even though it’s super dark and emotional and painful objectively.

 

Same like why is "Pandemic" trending on Netflix. Y'all crazy

I'm 7 in. Really excited to see where it goes. So far the pacing is the best. I've loved all the seasons overall, but felt like they all drug too much and had too much filler. This one seems about right so far.

Has anyone watched Spenser Confidential on Netflix yet? It has Mark Wahlberg, Winston Duke and Alan Arkin. It looks like it might be good but maybe a bit too action-y for my taste.

 

Anything with Mark Wahlberg is an automatic pass for me.

 

We watched old Bob Dylan videos on YouTube while we ate breakfast and I managed to talk Jess into watching Inside Llewyn Davis tonight so that’s tight.
