I'm going to grill or sear the chicken in cast iron. chop it up, lather it up in bbq sauce, and put it on the pizza. I like mine on top of a traditional pizza and not with bbq sauce under the cheese.

 

I have some really great local places that make killer BBQ chicken pizza. Also really geat buffalo chicken pizza and chicken bacon ranch pizza.

same. the best bbq chicken pizza I ever had was in Maine, oddly enough, but that place closed down maybe 10 years ago.

My favorite way is a white pie with either a sauce drizzle or the chicken tossed in the sauce. I agree that putting the actual bbq/buffalo/ranch under the cheese like normal sauce is excessive, but I also don't want normal sauce clashing with the rest of the flavors, personally.

I like the white pie idea, that sounds pretty great. I was thinking of using some fresh chopped up tomatoes, red onion, and lots of mozzarella, and of course the bbq chicken... with some garlic butter covering the dough first, obviously.

 

I get that. "Need" probably isn't the right word actually since you're right nobody NEEDS them. I've been insecure with dresses and skirts lately so it's something I wanna use until I overcome that a bit. My stomach has a lil baby bump looking thing going on rn. People keep telling me I'd make a cute pregnant lady and I'm like, hey that'd be cool... If I was pregnant!

Yeah most of the places by me do it that way. They either toss the chicken in sauce and then put it on top of the white pie, or they do like a drizzle on top of everything after the pizza is done cooking with everything on it.

 

I’m not huge on BBQ chicken pizza but I’ll eat it. My favorite chicken pizza is the Thai Dye from Mellow Mushroom.

I love a "traditional" pie but I also love Mod Pizza and just loading up on all the toppings since they don't charge extra

 

I miss working next to mod pizza.

You just can't beat the value if you wanna load up on toppings, they also have a pretty good GF crust

 

I get wanting to wear them though for sure. I definitely feel more comfortable in my skin wearing one and used to wear it pretty often. But since I've been watching what's going on on IG lately with women promoting unhealthy diet trends, looking perfect constantly with filters and Photoshop, coming out with body shaping lines it just really makes me look at what we are promoting to young girls and that we will likely have another generation of girls with body issues. I have an 8 yr old niece I want to protect and instill the right values in and decided I want to treat myself with the same amount of kindness as I do her.

 

yeah the crust was always thin and crispy and the variety of toppings kept me coming back
