I bet if I could find the death metal version of ap net there’d be a decent amount people from Maryland, a lot of bands of that ilk have come from Maryland, idk if there was a scene or what. Not really my thing. Some obscure but influential first wave emo bands most notably Moss Icon were from Maryland and a lot of them came from the capital, Annapolis. That whole scene is usually just portrayed as DC but I imagine that’s where most of the shows happened.

I’m like just too young to have known the real “long island scene” when youd get shows at like bowling alleys that TBS, BN, Glassjaw, and the Movielife were all playing the same show lol

then the whole tbs/BN thing happened
