I never worked in retail of any kind, did several years as a server though.

 

first job was food service and then I worked at Target in between stints at college.

Been to Publix once and it was really nice, haven't been to a Wegmans

Colorado kinda sucks as far as grocery/convenience stores go, they get the job done but they're also boring and don't have the other amenities/departments as a Publix/Wegmans/Wawa

 

Yeah publix hires sooo many teenagers that it was just like a constant hang out session tbh it was great. Also being a bagger/blocker at a grocery store is hella easy lmao

Ooof. I feel like I made 6.67 when I started? Which was minimum wage at the time (2006 I think? Or 07) but makes sense cause I was 15 and my first job. but we also got steady 25 cent raises every 90 days or whatever for the evaluations

Also most people started at Publix here bc they hire at 14 or 15. I started at 15.

 

yeah but you have Hazel's Beverage World so that makes up for it all.

 

I've never even heard of this place lol once the 'Rona is over i'll have to check it out

 

It's the most incredible beer, wine, and liquor store I've ever been to, haha. It's in Boulder though, so maybe that's really far from you.

 

It's not too bad, about 45 minutes, i've just never spent an extensive amount of time in Boulder. We're also lucky that our neighborhood liquor store is quite big as well and has everything we're ever looking for

 

I'm from PA where buying liquor is hell, so my viewpoint is a little skewed.

Furreal? The Mexican place here brought a mojito and a margarita to my car the other day. With a lid on. The lid bypasses the laws.
